Killer Queue Times

So it's been some time now since I've started experiencing this: everytime I try to find a game as killer it takes me about 5 minutes just to find the first survivor, once the first is found, all the others join in a matter of seconds.
I'm pretty sure it's not because people are only joining as SWF because even if they quit after they joined I'm still able to find new survivors pretty quickly even if there's only 1 slot left.
It's frustrating considering the fact that usually most games have all generators done in 5 minutes making it so the time I spend to find the game is equal or even more than the time I spend actually playing it.
Another thing to note is that this is happening to me since some days before the new chapter's release so I don't think it's directly related to the fact that people are trying the new killer and the Wraith.
At the moment I'm rank 1/2 but it happens since about rank 8 or so.
So I wanted to know if this is a matchmaking bug or not, thank you for your patience.

    Survivors get less BP normally. Combine that with their BP perk ALSO being way worse, and there’s your problem

    I'd take an instant queue with less BP over a longer queue and more stressful game type :/

    Leave alone the length of games, the main problem here is the fact that it takes too much time just to find a single person but then it takes way less time to find other people
