The devs are pretty much excusing themselves from having to do anything? Not to mention, below is what most people are having issues right now too...Ridiculous!

"DISCARDED REPORTS REASONS

THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT CONSIDERED BANNABLE OFFENSES - PLEASE DO NOT REPORT

Camping

Slugging

Tunneling

Streamsniping

Teabagging

Bodyblocking

Looping

UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT

Botting

Lag switching

Disconnects (leaving the match before killed or sacrificed) - DO NOT REPORT

For both Botting and Lag switching, in-game reports are REQUIRED / Customer Support ticket OPTIONAL

ABOUT DISCONNECTS BANS - DO NOT REPORT

Please keep in mind that even with video evidence, an in-game report is still required."

Screenshots are not considered valid evidence.

"Disconnects are handled by the disconnection penalty system. No further action will be taken on reports."

So basically the report function is a ######### joke and they’re dismissing everything unless there’s videos???? So instead of fixing crap, they are like "Here buy this costume" At this point, I am going to start calling them Wargaming

You cant control peoples behavior and the worst thing would be getting someone banned for what you perceive as one of the actions above but the person did not intend, I have been blamed on everything from working with the killer to one guy saying I was using a VPN apparently however I did none of these things. Sometimes you come across people who do not play by the rules but this happens in every game, You would have less of it if you played with people on the discord server or something similar.

Ok, while i agree on that to a point, however, I still don’t see how they can say camping and slugging arent bannable, yet they say taking the game hostage is... ######### do you think camping and slugging are? They’re preventing the match from being played

You control peoples behavior by what you allow them to do in your game. From the list above the only things I still take issue with is disconnects, botting and lagswitching, but I don't believe lagswitching really does anything anymore with dedicated servers (could be wrong).

That we pay for and expect support from? The nerve of us!

The other thing is. Their report feature doesn’t work on switch at all. You need video evidence? We’ll switch doesn’t allow video recording. Even if it did, we have to somehow use their ticket system that doesn’t show the full drop down menus, nor does it allow for any “evidence” to be added because they don’t accept screenshots, which is the only thing switch users have access to.

Plus it basically says, you have to be reported and found guilty of something multiple times before anything is done about it

It's because if they camp or slug you you still eventually die and can move on to the next game. Taking the game hostage would be trapping a survivor in a corner without them being able to leave, refusing to do gens and just stealthing around the map all game, etc. Things that actually prevent the game from progressing.

no with slugging and camping the person will eventually die. Taking the game hostage would be bodyblocking someone into a corner or preventing the game from having a possible end.

Slugging everyone and then just standing there doing nothing, is taking the game hostage and a dick move.

Camping and slugging have a definite endings set by gameplay mechanics. Either die after 2 minutes on hook or 4 minutes bleed out.

But taking the game hostage is indicated by keeping the other player from finishing their objective and no built-in timer sets an end to that.

For example the last survivor getting bodyblocked in a dead end like one one of the second floor rooms on Haddon field that has no windo and only 1 door.

If other survivor are still alive they can finish gens and initiate the egc which will set a timer.

Tl Dr: camping and slugging will end after the built-in timer runs out. Taking the game hostage leaves the other player with no option but to DC.

Camping: Killer with a rough day, he throws the game away.

Slugging: Remind me again why should this even be reportable?

Tunneling: Scummy way to take a player out the game quickly, but again, he's deliberately leaving 3 people on gens, throwing the game away.

Streamsniping: No way for the devs to tell if it was actually streamsniping

    Teabagging: Scummy behaviour

Bodyblocking: As in sandbagging bodyblocking, it IS reportable

    Looping: what?

Botting: I'm assuming you mean an AFK killer with a left click right click macro, just do totems do gens search chests and get your BPs.

Lag Switching: Not possible with dedicated servers
