This kind of players deserve to get and easy pass?
Hello, recently on official DbD Stream, not_Queen STATED that players that offend others with srs trash talk and irl threats and wishes will be permanently banned without any discussion!
I keep reporting players both in game and submiting ticket with all info and proofs and then i bookmark their profiles. Not single one of them had yet been punished and plays DbD each day!
So im here to ask did i got something wrong? is wishing someone to get cancer together with his family, telling you his gonna have sexual interactions with your mom etc OK???
I know DbD said they wont let us know when person gets punished, but they dont have to tell me, i see those ppl every day playing DbD on steam.
So i just want to know, will this players get what they deserve, or should i keep getting harrased on regular bases by some toddlers that dont even know what cancer is? Wishing something like that over a game to someone is beyond my understanding. It should NOT be tolerated and should be punished by ONLY and ONLY perma banning of their accounts!
I DELETED THEIR NAMES SO THAT THIS CANNOT BE TAGGED AS NAMING AND SHAMING.
I also have videos of each chat that had cancer wishes and similar.

It takes time to go through reports, especially given how many false reports are filed.

I srsly hope that ur right, but it has been a while since first guy i repored both in game and submiting ticket that btw if anyone wants to know is kinda hustle, as DbD team asks you for your Steam 64id, your dbd cloud ID that just to type that ~40 random characters code is pain, then to find your self steam 64id of player that ur reporting, attaching proofs etc etc. Its srsly not just click, write two words and submit.
On 13th of this month Not_Queen was very precise about how they gonna handle this kind of players. I was glad to hear it as i do not want to read such trash on regular bases. It may sound like bsht to you but every single family memeber i lost is due to cancer, its my worst nightmare irl, i have been past 12 years on with psychiatrist trying to get over what is called "cancerfobia" if it can be said like that on english. Im not bshiting you! And then comming into game to have some fun, playing just to get this kind of bshit almost every day?0 -

I finally got response from DbD team, saying they are starting to investigate case. Lets see how it goes.

Nah, the devs don't actually care enough to do anything about this. Only reason you got a response now is so this thread doesn't look as bad. They still wont do anything though.

Ok so I GOT A BAN??? reason stated is communication abuse, i never cursed anyone or stated bad words, or irl threats etc, worst thing i could have said is right there in those Screenshots when ppl trigger me with much worst words. Did those words i said are something u can get banned for? did they look over case i reported and punished guy i reported but me as well? Can i contact DbD team to get explanaiton and see what did i do wrong?

Temp ban btw, but ok if that would be true picture of how DbD team holds against abuses etc, im fine, i wasnt rly nice to those ppl after they stated what they did, but why do i have feeling its just because i showed them chat etc my self? At least now i expect them to get permanent bans as what i said is no were even close to what they started with.

Even though the devs claim that they repotr for this kind of behaviour now, I still doubt they will do it.
Before they didnt bother either, thats why toxicity is all time high in DBD now and thanks to those streamers advertising the toxic and actually bannable playstyle, yet not geting banned for it2 -

It sounds strange to me, but friend that plays other very popular game, tells me that saying to other players that they will get banned etc is considered as communitation abuse and can be reason for temp ban.
But im ok with it, if its like that, i didnt know, but ok, i will live without dbd for one day, but i want to see justice done on other side which I REPORTED MY SELF, getting harsher punishment then me, because if im getting one day ban for telling someone that hes reported and that he should enjoy his ban, well on what he started in first place with, wishing me and my family cancer, telling me that his gonna sleep with my mom, that hes gonna sleep with me etc etc. In my book thats much much muuuuuuch worse offence then what i did. So if i did get 1 day ban, in my eyes he should get permanent one.
If that happens im happy with DbD team and good work tbh! let me learn from my mistakes, i just wish they have told me reason so that i can be sure whats problem, but if thats gonna get that "player" i reported out of this game and community im happy with 1 day punishment my self.!3 -

I think the most important lesson you learned is to just disconnect when the game is over - don't engage these people. Just hit "leave" and move on. Or turn chat off.
People like that feed on your reaction. If you don't give them anything to react to, it infuriates them more and you win.
This is why I don't have TTV on my profile anymore, and why my profile is closed to comments. Let them chew on my silence.

Good point and advice FrenziedRoach.
However, there has been developement in my case, which i must say took very deferent turn, i got ban by mistake, as i contacted DbD team soon as i got ban and it was lifted mere 30min later. So i must apologize to DbD team for maybe reacting too fast and all, but tbh who could expect this. Im not mad at them for making mistake, its human to make mistake and they also apologized to me.
Gotta say at least they were super fast and one bonus is its 3am in Centra Europe atm. Kinda didnt expect fast reply and specialy not in middle of night.0 -
Ignore the chat as killer, or calm your mind and let the game go on there. I usually say something like i did it all on purpose so i can sacrifice their tears to the entity too. That puts most of them hard on defense, and their reaction to that is mostly funny ^^. But always be polite if you doing that

Cut/Paste it all into a text file. Anytime you feel a bit down, take a look at it and realize that they are just upset because you won. Doesn't matter if you 4k'd or 0k'd, you've upset them enough that they had to trash talk to just to make themselves feel better. If they didn't have that outlet, their egos might have to take a good long look at themselves and understand that they just aren't as good as they think they are.
It's not worth reporting, as that stuff will most likely just be tossed as "Inconclusive" or "Not enough evidence". It's also not worth responding to those individuals. Just ignore the incoming whine missiles and smile to yourself. You've just made a Survivor frothing mad and ragey. That means you did a pretty good job.
On a side note, the anonymity of the Internet, and the pathetic social interactions we now call a society, are perfectly represented here on DbD. Crybabies who can't accept a loss, spoonfed lusers who can't function without someone shoving information into their brain, and an "If it makes it easier for me, I like it. If it makes me actually work a little for my reward, I hate it" attitude. Give them a "GG" and move on to the next match when you're ready. Just don't waste your time or emotions on these sad cases. They aren't worth a bent penny irl.

There's no reason or excuse for toxicity. Even if someone did camp/tunnel/loop/bodyblock/farm/whatever you, no need to take it up the ass so far that you have to message them.
It's a game. Some people don't seem to understand that.
Try not to take it too personally. I tend to find amusement in rage messages now. For those that rage quit but still message me, I typically send them this:
