Frequency of the Spirit?

Im leveling up The Spirit and this Bonsai add-on says it increases the frequency of passive phasing.

Can someone explain what that means?

  She appears to phase in and out of existence whilst walking around; basically these add-ons make it so that she does so more often. They're add-ons that basically do the mindgames for her in loops.

  I never play Suvivor and looked at a couple of videos and now i know what you mean.

  She just disappears and appears at random intervals like every 3-7 seconds.
