MAKE IT HARDER FOR SURVIVORS TO RANK UP !!!
God, solo queue is awful.
I'm a red rank survivor and my teammates suck so much... They run away and crouch in a corner after unhooking me although the killer is clearly chasing the obsession and they have we'll make it... They bodyblock me at a pallet because they decide to heal a downed survivor from 0 to 100 who is under a pallet with leatherface next to us, he downed me... They waste pallets and mess up normal gen skill checks all the time, arghh.. the list can go on and on..
Nowadays, EVERY POTATO can be rank 1. It's not hard to rank up and I HATE it. Finally make it harder to rank up as a survivor and consider hours played in the matchmaking system.

Agreed. I think I was watching Puppers last night and he said the exact same thing. He also added make it Rank 30 to 1, and make it tougher to pip for survivor, and a little easier for killers. Honestly, I wouldn't say no to seeing everyone just thrown back to Rank 20, and forced into a new pip system to finally weed out the potatoes of this game. I'm so tired of seeing them every damn match.

as one of those potatoes that has hit red ranks, i agree. i hate how often i feel like i let my team down because im facing people who actually do belong in red ranks.

It really doesn’t need to be easier for killers IMO. I went against a red rank killer yesterday who had 100 hours in the game and didn’t know how his killer power or half his perks worked. :/ Someone who’s that new shouldn’t be able to so easily make it to red ranks, it’s not fun for anyone.

I'm red rank and I wouldn't say I'm bad, per se, but I fail at chases a lot. Mainly I avoid chases and do Gens and Totems.
Do I feel I belong in Red Rank? Sometimes, especially compared to other players of similar rank. Other times I insta-die.
Do I think its too easy to rank as Survivor? Yes. The amount of times I actually depip is unreal. I can play like a$$ and still safety pip.

I just had a match against a Clown, or maybe 4 Clowns after the result. All was going great, I was the only one not being caught and at last we get the final Gen done. A Claudette goes down and luckily I always run Kindred so I could see the other 2 survivors running around like lunatics while clown was beside hook, so I took a chance and grabbed the Claudette, but I don't have BT so I take the down to keep her safe. I swear to god, I wanted to reach into my TV at this point and kill someone. A Meg tries to flashlight, why, I have no idea. Goes down. A Jake tries saboing the hook, grabbed. The Claudette tries to revive Meg 2 feet away from the psycho murderer and downs. And to make it even better. The survivors were of course, Red rank. I mean, I'm red rank and did a stupid getting downed for a save, but I could risk it with zero hooks. But my god, as I saw the icons changing to downs I felt both sadness and severe rage inside.

I had something similar happen about two months ago.When I was still playing as the doctor.A Meg and Claudette tried to blind me and hook save their teammate right as I hooked him.That failed for them really quick I turned around re-hooked Jake slugged Claudette as she made loud bush noises and the meg ragequits😂.The only smart one was Feng min who I let escape.

It's already difficult for survivors compared to killer. The only reason you're probably stuck with those are because they're boosted. Not a rank issue, a SWF issue. Otherwise, no way garbage players get to red rank. Heck I've just hit 4 and unless I get 3 Iridescents in one game, AT RED RANK, I just about safety pip. I believe it is difficult, sure some may disagree. But compared to killer, it's harder.

FOR THE RECORD AND MY REPUTATION: I only play Survivor when I'm invited. Yes, I am awful and the worst and useless but I can't refuse an invite because I don't want Switx friends to think I'm a rude jerk so, I do apologize if I've ever teamed up with anyone here and ######### up your plans or plays.

90% of red rank survivors:
- Get hit 2 seconds into a chase. Downed in 10 seconds. (Can never get a gen done because they keep going down and killers keeping popping the gen I'm on...) ✓
- Urban evasion and Self-Care. ✓
- Miss skillchecks ✓
- 50hrs playtime ✓
- Never look behind them ✓
- Waste pallets ✓
- Hear a faint TR or if Spinechill procs for half a second they immerse, even if they could stick and finish the gen (... pop pop) ✓
- Chests? ✓ Totems? ✓ Gens? ✕
But seriously... lots of the time if I am not the one that loops or 'runs' the killer, it feels as if the game is over because of how much of a snowball killers get via PGTW from survivors that can't last 2 seconds in a chase. If I see a survivor with a few hours in the game when I'm playing as survivor, I'm dodging. Yesterday I had survivors tell me that they just bought the game... and I'm a rank 1 survivor. Had enough of playing with really inexperienced teammates.

Yeah, please. Solo survivor is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. It's by far the worst experience you can have in this game.
Many red ranks should not even be rank 20. We need to have 100 ranks and they need to be locked at rank 100 where they belong until they learn how to play the game. If ever.

I would normally agree but I don’t think it even matters at this point. You can be purple or red rank and still find random rank 15-20s in your game.
This is why I stopped playing. You have to sweat your butt off while playing but with no chance of escaping. I’m not exaggerating but you actually see these survivors just walking around the edge of the map afraid to go anywhere near a gen. They last about 10 seconds in every chase. They don’t have DS either so the killer quickly tunnels them out within the first 2 minutes of the game.
The ranking/matchmaking is by far the biggest problem the game has right now.

Between having made it way too easy to pip and the new rank reset where you basically barely even move, it has pushed everyone up into ranks they don't belong in. It's extremely hard to down rank and very easy to rank up. These are part of the factors also making queue times so long.

I agree. I'm rank 3 and I still don't know how to loop, and I run Windows of Opportunity because I also don't know where pallets/windows spawn. I go down in 10 seconds and I sometimes make very dumb decisions. I learn from my mistakes, sure, but my mistakes are numerous and it sucks feeling like I'm constantly letting the team down. At this point, I kind of just don't want to play anymore. It feels so awful being in a match with people who have four times the amount of hours you do.

It's insane actually. I hope the devs can fix it soon but they try to fix matchmaking for over 4 years now...
