Does Nurse have any addons youd actually consider strong?
Been screwing around with Nurse tonight and having fun with a killer I NEVER play and was just thinking are ANY of her addons strong? Some of em seem useful, but I dont really see any combo that would seem really good. Thoughts?

Strong? No. She only has four which are useful, and two are used to bring back old base kit Nurse. But useful doesn't equate to strong, at least in the sense that this game uses.

Her addons should not be strong. She is strong enough on her own in the hands of a skilled player. Add busted addons(like the addons before the nerf - omegablink nurse for example) on top of that and survivors stand no chance.

fatigue reduction add-ons are nice. Power recharge speed add-ons are also decent.

None of them are strong in the aspect of being broken or like too powerful
but she does have addons that modify her kit, and can make her situationally stronger or better
her fatigue/cooldown reducing addons are by far her strongest in the right hands, her longer blink addons are quite strong, however they make it slower to charge her blinks so it can throw off muscle memory a bit, yet they can be strong if you double stack them
her addon badmans last breath i believe, reduces terror radius to 0 (undetectable status effect) which is considerably stronger then people give her credit for, with it you are situationally able to counter out borrowed time every 60s and occasionaly get the jump on survivors who rely too heavily on terror radiuses. all round fun addon
also the addon that reverses your blink is actually very very good. if people double back on themselves you can easily utelize it to double back on them incredibly quickly to get a hit. also its just fun!
her addon that gives her a second half charged blink instantly after fully charging and releasing her first blink is also decently ok if you get good at using it, allows for slightly faster map traversal, and people don't usually expect an instant second blink, so you can catch up on people a lot faster even if your not always outright hitting them. paired with her recharge/fatigue addons this addon can become decently good, as you can double speed blink to catch up or catch someone out, and normal blink (just under fully charge the 1st blink) during chase.

The range addons shouldnt affect muscle memory actually since they more or less just give you the option of charging the blink longer to go further. If you wanna charge the blink for the same amount of time as you would without addons, you SHOULD go the same distance as normal.

It's because the add-ons also reduce charge speed.

Kavanaghs Last Breath + Fragile Wheeze a longer blink, quicker recovery. You can try both ranges but it takes too long for me personally to charge at least last I tried. Heavy Panting + Fragile Wheeze the same with little less distance.
Dark Cincture + Fragile Wheeze vanilla distance and very quick recovery
Matchbox + Spasmodic Breath ... memes? I really dislike the you get to walk fast addons because playing nurse is for blinking not walking.
That is what comes to mind, depends a little bit on what you prefer. Play around and you will find out what you like. Just do not use the, return to your previous position, blink forward upon pressing a button bs addons they are useless. If you have trouble adjusting to the blink, try the make survivors scream when you blink past them (no gurantees) that it works as i imagine but it should help to pay more attention.
Learn to flick and how to "cancel" blinks, use your blinks to look around. Also something that you should keep in mind, when you need to cover distance -> Charge blink, while you blink, charge the 2nd blink as it allows you to travel more distance compared to charge, blink, charge. At least it did.
Hope you have fun, i am jealous that you can play without bugs, fml.

Technically yes, it takes longer to get a "full charge", but if your only trying to get to 10 meters lets say...it'll be the same amount of charge either way.

I'll keep that last part in mind. The timing on my 2nd blink before it does the fatigue keeps screwing with me so I keep just doing shorter blinks with the 2nd one.

A few come to mind:
Both cooldown add-ons and fatigue reduction add-ons are probably her best ones. Combine one of them with a range add-on and it's pretty powerful.
Metal Spoon is pretty good imo. Negates the need to run stridor and counters not only iron will but some of the sound bugs like 10% of the time (even though they will still end up making 0 sounds a lot of the time anyway because DbD is a perfect game).
Nurse has a lot of interesting builds but I don't see often. It's a shame that her most interesting add-ons like Jenner's and Campbell's last breath are so useless. And then you have ones like bad man's last breath and the two ultra rates that are just...what. it's like they were made up on the spot in 15 minutes with no real thought behind them. The two ultra rares have a decent upside but then an absolutely horrendous downside that makes them unusable and I don't understand why every ultra rare after the GhostFace chapter have all been so bad.

I personally find the new omega blink one of the things that makes nurse still fun.

Range plus recharge or double recharge are her best add-on builds. The former is omega blink 2.0, that I would label as strong and the second is essentially old basekit Nurse (just slightly nerfed), which I'd also call strong. That's about it.
For ok-ish add-ons:
The spoon and the keepsake (aka perks in add-on form) are fine if you'd use the corresponding perk, but you'd also like free the slot.
Catatonic and especially ataxic are kinda nice as well and possibly a tad underrated. They only affect fatigue, so it's true you still have to wait for the blinks to recharge. However, despite obviously helping with tracking, you'd actually be surprised at how helpful they are at minimizing loss of distance.
Finally, the wooden horse is not bad for brown rarity. Despite being labelled as a beginner's add-on, it actually allows you to be quite liberal with your swings.

I'll keep these in mind. I've really only been playing with 1 addon at a time since FOR NOW, the plaid flannel is pretty much always on until I get the hang of my blink ranges.

Cooldown decrease addons are the only useful addons to me. The basekit cooldown is terrible imo.

CD reducrion addons are good.
If you want to put a lot of training in it, Kavanaghs can be good too.

Fun-factor wise I like the addon that make Survivors scream when you blink near them. Don’t know why but it’s humourous.
Honourable mention would be the addon that turns her into a 115% killer for 60s. It confuses the hell out of some survivors

The Nurse starter's kit I always recommend is Plaid Flannel and Wooden Horse. After at least 15-20 games, you can remove the Flannel. I did and it worked perfectly. I know the Flannel is controversial for beginners, but I think the critics come more from players who learned Nurse without it because it was purple rarity. The Horse is meant as a cushion for when you miss. In general, you may want to go for some ambitious swings at the beginning, to get a feeling for the timing and range post blink. However, when you get that down, you want to start being more selective and swing only when you know it will connect.
It's all training wheels in the end. They're there to keep you up when you can't on your own yet, but you don't want to become dependent on them.

Range and recharge are the only ones I ever use. It's those or I just run without add ons
