We need more left handed killers
I am big sad to see everyone here is normal.

Huntress wields her weapon in both hands and throws Hatchets with her left.
Clown throws bottles with his left hand.
But aside from them yea, everyone seems very much like a righty.

lefties are forced to be ambidextrous to a degree. I shoot bows right handed, for example. I also play guitar (hero) and PC games right handed. That doesn't mean I don't do literally everything else lefty style. Look how she holds the axe. The power is from the higher point of contact, aka her right. I am also equally ambidextrous for throwing objects, personally. If I want precision I shoot lefty, but for distance I throw rightie. I don't know why that works but it does.

I think this is for modelling and simplicity's sake.

And this affects the gameplay...How?

Why does it need to affect gameplay? Lol

Most likely, but it's also probably the reason every other Killer is right handed.
So I think it's worth mentioning.

Actually, you're right. I forgot that the devs treat it less like a game and more of a virtual fashion simulator. I'm such a fool for thinking that.

nope too strong devs will nerf them to be right handed

when all the killers hold their weapons in a right-handed way, having one killer who's left-handed would honestly hurt me so much.
I would prefer some sort of option to reverse the viewmodel, so it looks like you have clown throwing with his right hand or the edge of huntress's axe being on her left side.

In that case, I want a colorblind killer so I can feel included as well. Anyone who plays that killer has to play in black and white mode :)

Instead of trying to hook around the killer's right to avoid like, over half of the M1's in the game, you'd have to hook to the left instead for a specific killer, making the mind games themselves and how you handle similar scenarios on the other killers different.

@Pryzm Freeeeddeh :D lmao

That'd probably weird me out big time every time i play them, seeing the weapon on the left all the time, swinging it to the right.

It's a consistency thing. Killers generally hold their main weapon off to the right (or sometimes a bit centered if it's two-handed) and use their power with their left hand. It helps place the power's use near the power icon/bar while also making sure the weapon model doesn't distract from or obstruct other HUD info (in the bottom left).
It is also a pretty standard layout for a first-person-perspective, just like you'd see in a lot of shooting games. It just kind of happens as a result of the world majority being right-handed (only about 10% of people are lefties).
Maybe they could just implement some kind of lefty-flip on the models if you like? Almost every killer has a reversed model used exclusively on the main menu, perhaps an option could be added to use this model instead of the standard one? They could probably accomplish something similar with survivors by just altering which of their hands is used to hold items.

I was specifically thinking because it would mirror the attack animation, too. It would completely flip how survivors handle up close situations, making it automagically a gimmick for a new killer.
Imagine hugging his/her left side to avoid the M1 instead of the right. The geometry of basically all the maps would have to be re-visited in survivors "situation catalog" if that makes sense. It would make certain rooms suddenly much safer than others. Like the penitentiary for example, by one of the doors there's a small counter for a reception area to the left. If you're running down the hall so that's on the left it wouldn't normally be safe to dive in there to avoid a hit.

Why is right-handed "normal"? That implies left-handed as abnormal.

Statistically, it is.
Also, I'm left handed. Just btw.
