Pyramid Head Needs a Rework

People can disagree, it is a discussion after all and sensible opinions are welcome. But from my experience of my first 5 games on various maps I've noticed he just isnt reliable at all.

On open maps his trails are useless, only good time is in this to discourage looping that area but wait, they'll just run to the next. That and its beaten by just crouching.

His flick again, only used as a bait, open maps like Autohaven have to much area to ever land hits without getting dodged.

If 2 people are somehow tormented and ones in a cage. Both are no longer tormented if one saves the other.

On enclosed maps like Hospital, Hawkins etc. He's good, bound to get a few torments. But there are always multiple entry and exits that unless you take time blocking a whole room, they can avoid it. His flick is difficult to pull off at some parts as there are always sudden turns but still more capable of being done.

He is tall and has 36m terror radius which makes mind games and sneak difficult. No gen or map pressure capabilities although I feel that was his point with the torment. Out of 5 games, I've tormented 4 people.

Overall, just too much going against him. Other than his 4.6m speed with his flick if landed, I feel there are just better killers that can be used instead to get a better result. Just hope he will be considered for a few strength tweaks down the line.

Tell me what you folks think, whether he needs change. What changes would you make.

Like any new killer when you start out playing them you will only see the weaknesses. After 5 games you won't have his power down enough to utilise it properly.

Most thought Nurse was a bad killer when first started playing her.

It's the same when he first came out when survivors played some games and said he was overpowered.

My advice is to play a lot more games with him and while he is not top tier he isn't bad by any means and is really good baiting loops for hits.

He doesn't need a rework but tweak more than likely. Going off of just 5 games isn't enough. I'm almost maxed him at P2 now but to me he plays like old Doc with his Punishment attack. I feel like he should do things faster instead of move faster.

I have him P3 and I think he is fine wheres he is at. If anything, I think he needs a more sensitive flick.

Pyramid Boy is a zone denier killer. His ability may have use in hurting survivors but i mostly use it to get a mini mori later on. Honestly, Pointy Head doesn't get enough credit for what he is capable of. My only hope is that in time, players on both sides come to see Triangle Man as a serious threat and not someone they can just mindlessly tunnel as.

Applying torment is unreliable, really hope they change it so that punishment of the damned applies it too (or only the caged survivor has their torment removed - not the uncager).

I find you have to play him with a different mindset if you're looking to torment people. Tormenting mid-loop ensures the survivor either gets tormented or they leave the loop. Other than that, sneaky torments behind LoS in commonly trafficked areas, and dark grass that can hide the visual are prime spots for torment.

What I struggle with as PH is his secondary ability. I can NEVER land it. The delay is just so long and punishing. I actually just give up most games and M1 and fake the ability to apply torment. There's like the smallest opening to hit a survivor after they vault a window or pallet, but I just suck so bad at it still. It feels so punishing compared to a lot of other killers' powers. Demo has no downside to faking his secondary for instance.
