The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Easiest way to fix the OoO problem (exploit?)
Have it that if more than on survivors runs it, the killer automatically get an ebony mori, regardless what else they burn.
Before every match survivors have a chat available, so even when not playing swf, you have about 1 minute to discuss who gets to use it. you don't need to rush into a match.

I think they should just take it out, personally.

that honestly would be the most favorable solution, but as some people would get extremely cranky either way, let them decide between hell or high water.
like, it IS a perk that fits the character's lore, but as it is, it is too easily exploitable.

I assume this is a joke, but just in case it wasn't - How about if more than 1 person has OoO, you play the match that you were given?
6 -
There should be another downside for this perk. At least it shouldnt work against stealth killers (Survivors cant see them but the icon lights up so its equaly good information)
Maybe something like this:
As long as the killer is watched by someone runnign OoO he gains 5% movement speed.
So this broken perk has to be used carefully.
But honestly just remove it.

How long will it take me to find you complaining 'bout Noed?
4 -
It just needs a rework... get an entirely different ability.
Too easily exploitable. Too strong against certain killers.
7 -
just need to be grayed out if you in a group.
0 -
that'd be one way, but I've seen posts from people mass leave groups till they end up in a group with friends when the servers for swf were down

Better fix, for every OoO user 4 Survivors start on the hook.

Be my guest ;) I believe you can easily browse through other people's comment histories. To save you some time, I don't use noed, because it's not worth the perk slot, but to each their own - if you like to wait until the endgame to actually use your perks... again, be my guest.
Back to your thing - the fact that you struggle against a perk or get tilted by people using it doesn't mean that there's something wrong with it and definitely doesn't make it an exploit. It just means that you are still new-ish to the game and have yet to learn how to deal with certain aspects within it.

I didn't know you were in favor of modes with up to 16 survivors... ;D

You can definitely feel the difference in a game with OoO perhaps it needs a cooldown so it can't be abused by teams on comms.

Where was that mentality when Nurse and Billy were getting chopped
0 -
The only people who would get cranky are SWFs because solos never run OoO. Honestly SWFs are the reason this perk is so hated so I say it's for the good of the game if we took it out.
4 -
You're asking the wrong person ;) I was against both of the re-works
1 -
Just change it that only the current obsession sees the killer aura, but the killer always sees all survivors with OOO. That would be real high risk, every DS stun could rob your aura reading, but the killer still sees you. And mulötiple OoO is only beneficial for the killer.
3 -
I don't think the issue is multiple people running OoO. The problem is when it's a 4 man swf with headsets. When one person runs it they can tell everyone else where the killer is.

Not true. I run object solo every night.
0 -
Oh my bad, I guess that should've been a more general statement rather than on just you.
0 -
but really, people saying ooo is fine as it is and defend it with 'just play the match you get' are usually the first ones to complain about 'broken' perks when they lose.
0 -
It needs a radius added to it. Like, it only works within 25m or something, and only 1 person can bring it. This is the most BS, exploited perk by SWFs. It's literally a cheat code that behavior allows...
1 -
Not really. I think object is fine. I use it as survivor and I don't mind facing it as killer. Only time it is extremely unfair is vs a freddy. I don't complain when i lose at all...and I lose a lot lol.
0 -
radius or have it only activate after 5 seconds or so.
1 -
Could add a limit to how long a survivor can see the killer's aura at a time and put it on a cool down.
1 -
That wouldn't be a half bad idea either. Give it a cooldown like they do with killers.
1 -
i don't think they do that for one perk and if they do they shouldn't be play if they have to cheat to win.
0 -
No worries. Just remember that a lot of people enjoy playing both killer and survivor, so the fact that I like using OoO and don't mind it used against me doesn't automatically mean that I want all killers to be nerfed into the ground.
0 -
Easy fix: OoO gets 15/20/25 seconds of use, then burns out. If you see the aura for a quick flash, it rounds up to the nearest whole second of consumption. That’s it. Use it wisely.
3 -
you'd be surprised what some people do if their ego's at stake...
0 -
then the other option would be to change what it does altogether.
0 -
I think the perk just needs to be reworked completely.
0 -
Yes sure. But when OoO would only work for the obsession, you could actively enforce an obsession switch to deny the aura reading. Be it Perks like Nemesis, Furtive Chase or tunneling to get DS stun. Esp. when they are a 4 man swf, they should really think about if they want to run OoO besides DS.

Consolers: What is this minute of pregame chat thing you speak of?
0 -
There needs to be an actual negative to being the obsession. Unless the killer is running rancor it's actually more beneficial to be the obsession than not. STBFL means the killer is probably going to avoid you if they can help it to keep their stacks. PWYF will chase you then leave. Dark Devotion the killer will hit you once and might leave you alone to go hunting while undetected.
0 -
Make it a timed thing. Both auras are shown every minute for 3/4/5 seconds. Show the perk cooldown on the hud so the survivor and killer knows when it's about to happen.
This way it still gives the user information but not enough that a swf team will feel the need to run it.

The only one who actually get benefit is pyramid head.
