Exploit or Design?
Random question. If the killer stands in the exact place of the pallet where the survivor can't pull down the pallet, is that done by design?

Explot every possible design flaw this game has. The developer's game design is meant to grief us. Both sides. I believe that they truely want the community to be toxic or at least to toy with one another0

Yes it's called bodyblocking.that is not what body blocking is...
body blocking is purposefully stopping your team mates from going through windows or narrow spacesand on killer side body blocking is trapping someone in a corner or at the bottom of the basement stairs and never trying to down that person

If you use your body to block something, it is called a body block. What you describe is bannable acts. Body block becomes just a tool in this case.
For example, fast vaults are not bannable acts by any mean but if you do that in order to give away one of your teammates position to the killer, it becomes an offense.
Body block is also used when survivors try to prevent the killer from hooking and it is completely okay. I am sure blocking pallets is also okay.

in bannable acts it says "body blocking" so using that term for anything other than what the devs mean is idiotic and is part of the reason their report system is flooded constantly
so yes standing in front of the killer to stop them from hooking your team mate is okay, as is standing in the way of a pallet to stop it from dropping neither of those things are what the report system means by "body blocking" so it should not be what we mean either, call it meat shielding for all i care but dont call it body blocking

It is not idiotic. It is created by community and if the devs misused the term, it is their own fault. What you describe is taking the game hostage and griefing.
You can't change 25k people's mentality so they should explain which body blocks are allowed and which aren't.

This literally never happens for me as a killer, but it happens sometimes against other killers. I'm guessing it's a latency thing.

No "body blocking" means using your body to block a location. You can use your comment as examples of body blocking but examples are not the same as meaning.

@holywhitetrash
The Devs cannot change the meaning of a word. What the Devs have called body blocking in streams/Q&As/etc are examples of body blocking. Again the Dev cannot changed the meaning of a word.0
