PLAYING KILLER ISNT FUN ANYMORE ITS A NIGHTMARE
Every single game every survivor is working on his own gen wich results in 5 gens being done in less than 5 min, every survivor knows how to loop, where the safe pallets and widnows are and how to exploit them, they know the map, and they are 4, I mean what chances do i have? NONE. i get so mad when they tbag at the exit, like dude cmon

hi, welcome.. first time?

Whats your build????
1 -
Relax and search for solutions to your problems, maybe you are not playing a suitable build?
12 -
Oh i know that feeling. You need to adopt the "######### this" attitude. When you see theyre doing that, and the more you see it the quicker youll identify it, your sole mission is to drag someones ass into the basement. See its VERY rare that solos behave this way, they dont have the coordination. So if you get someone in the basement all their little buddies immediately know. At least 1, probably 2 is coming off gens to try and get that person out.
From here its going to be an absolute dog fight and no its not going to be easy. They have bt, unbreakable and ds so you have to be on the lookout for all of it. You down someone you leave them there and keep hitting people till they all run away. Then hook, rinse, repeat. Watch for ds of course.
Now the problem here is if they say f it and leave the dude in the basement youre kind of screwed.
The alternative is constantly breaking chase and hitting different people, keeping them on the same side of the map and injured. This is risky though and works less frequently

I HAVE ALL THE DAMN PERKS, I PLAY HUNTRESS I DONT MISS MUTCH HATCHETS, My perks are bamboozle, Brutal, Iron Maiden and POP,
0 -
Both sides need revisits.
Survivors: We have no items that last long. (Toolboxes, med kits, insta heal kits)
Killers: We have no way to control the speed of the match now. (Ruin and Thana )
1 -
Have you ever played killer on red ranks? Ruin doesnt last more than 1 gen, and thana red ranks heal so damn fast its useless
5 -
You have no perks that help you find survivors faster. Try out some new builds. I like to run aura revealing perks on Huntress. BBQ, Nurse's calling, I'm all ears. Also really helpful perks are Discordance and Whispers.
1 -
this guy shouldn't go down from rank 10 at least
0 -
Those perks work fine against normal survivors. The survivors youre playing against it doesnt help much. Weird ######### like sloppy, coulorophobia, iron grasp and agitatiin are better (in fact thats a pretty decent basement build), unfortunately you dont know youre headed into this kind of match until youre in there. Pop is useless cause youre not stopping the gens, bbq is useless cause theyre coming to you. Things like that

As a still inexperienced killer player I try to see it as a learning experience. Let them show me their tricks and eventually I'll figure out ways to deal with them. I'm not trying to win as much as not make stupid mistakes and learn to make the right choices. It's not always easy to stay calm but at least for me the less I care about keeping the match together, the better I play. I've been holding my own just fine against players of my skill level (not rank) but getting used to the advanced survivor tactics is taking time.
Played against this SWF group last night and they tried to grief me with their flashlights so hard. It turned into total chaos and I actually ended up having quite a bit of fun working on my flashlight evasion skills and catching them off guard. I'd like to think they got more than they bargained for. Most of all fun = win, no matter if the survivors escape or not.
I don't feel obliged to see the survivors off at the gates just because they're waiting there. Let them wait, the timer is running anyway. What I am currently getting annoyed by is when I get 2 survivors at the end who are good at chases and/or hiding but apparently repairing generators is below them. They refuse to even touch the remaining gens (I have Surveillance) and the match drags on for ages. I'd rather be genrushed and move on with my life.
8 -
Then i don't know, why i get 3-4ks constantly in red ranks. Maybe play a other killer or a better perk build.
2 -
I 100% guarantee those people deranked on purpose to go against low level killers to bully them. No survivor at the actual rank will go flashlight and get that many points in a normal game. Look at their perks too.
11 -
I have plenty fun playing killer so 🤷
1 -
Unfortunately you get a lot of people who think winning is fun. As in, the only way to have fun in this game is to "win." 4K, 3K, whatever they think, if they don't get that, they don't have fun.
A lot of people don't live in the moment, they live for the victory. The victory determines what is fun, not the experience.
3 -
That is a very rare example. I never saw 4 flashlights in one of my games, but you have seen it in the lobby, if they not just changed it right before it started (dick move). Legion is a weak killer as well.

you dont have all the perks, those perks are terrible and not good for huntress, first of all she is a 110% seh needs corrupt intervention to have some extra early pressure then you dont have any tracking perk no thrilling no bbq she literally needs tracking perks to find people or at least use whispers... pop is fine and bamboozle is not fine at all why would you use bamboozle on huntress? better use im all ears or something more helpfull
1 -
Try a more relaxing playstyle a few games that will make it less stressful for you. Like Bubba, Hag, Trapper, Doctor Basement build and simply camp and 4k. All the running around is fine but sometimes you need to cool down, then basement camping is good.
0 -
That's a healthy attitude, you should go far as killer :)
2 -
My primary problem lately is the absurd matchmaking. A Rank 20 can go up against a Rank 4, 6 with rank 18 and 20 being carried.
0 -
In this current state, as killer you either need to run builds that let you find and down survivors fast or run builds that slowdown the game as much as possible, a mixture of both is better.
Depends on the killer as well. Usually I go for two gen/slowdown perks and two perks to help in tracking or chase.
1 -
Bamboozle and Brutal aren't good on Huntress. I suggest BBQ and another perk of your choice, maybe Devour or Infectious Fright.
0 -
You run bamboozle and brutal on... Huntress?
0 -
Let me guess, you're about a rank 9, playing somewhere in the southern USA and you're getting nothing but red rank survivors?
When you get these kinds of teams, stay calm and focus on snowballing, hell camp a little if you have to. Most of the time, they're so arrogant they will rush the hook.
Well, that certainly isn't helping. Corrupt, pop, bbq, and nurses calling. Run exhaustion add ons.

I totally agree. That's why I care about skill level and not rank anymore. I have been matched with red ranks and most of the time they feel like purple but the yellow ranks I get are usually deranked experienced players. Matchmaking has been giving me distinctly different skill level survivors depending on the hour. During the day and early evening I get longer killer queues and more experienced players and around midnight it's instant queues and good matches.
Been there, burnt out, didn't play DbD for months, came back recently and I'm trying to make the time I spend playing worth it and not just another source of stress. Different people have different priorities and that's ok.
Yes, if I get a flashlight team, it's usually 2-3 flashlights and they don't go as far as to coordinate their addons.
Are you suggesting I should have dodged that lobby or picked a stronger killer? I've only dodged once recently when I got matched to the same 4-man swf right away again. Usually I can't be bothered to dodge.
I got Legion recently and I'm currently maining him because I want to work on my basics. I don't want to get carried to higher ranks by a strong killer. Therefore, I picked a non-stealthy, non-teleporting killer whose power I enjoy . I got inspired by some scary good killers playing Trapper, Legion, Clown, etc.
Thank you, I'll do my best :)

I am sorry to say this but you have to play more and improve don t hesitate to record your gameplay and send it to the community , you just have to learn the game a bit more and always try to have fun

idk, the long queue time just to wind up with less points that I'd get as survivor especially with wglf is just a discouragement for me lol. now that event is over, the times I dos till play, it's only survivor lol. but for now I'm on death stranding on steam, and on ghosts on my pro this weekend. prolly won't be back often till double BP.
0 -
I use bamboozle and brutal to avoid looping, i used them in every killer IDK why them are a abd perk, they help you to have quicker chases
0 -
Its a breeze compared to solo survivor
1 -
I don't care about bloodpoints at the moment. During the anniversary event I got all my survivors and killers to at least 40 and I have almost all perks on the characters I main. I don't see a reason to prestige. I got to red ranks on survivor but I'm kinda tired playing that side. In the past when I was trying to rank up killer, I had 20+ min queues but now it's 5-6 mins or instant late night. I still have bazillion anniversary offerings on several of my killers but I stopped using them because I'm constantly about to hit the bloodpoint cap. I used to strive to rank up mainly to improve my queue times but now I'm fine where I am. Therefore, I don't stress about points and pips at the moment and just hone my blade :)

Typical case of GitGud and poor bait.

That's a problem i have too. I really would like to enjoy the game more, especially the killer side. But i'm too competitive and end up being frustrated over the game. I think a part of this attitude comes from survivors that "train" you to be like that. When you lose, survivors don't hold back with their "ez baby killer" messages, even if you made it really hard for them to escape. That instigates fear of losing again and being the dumb jerk. From all the PvP games i played, DbD has the most toxic potential and community, not because the people are bad in general but because the game contains so much frustration potential by design. You play really good but lose due to RNG, maps, got "perked" or survivors coordinate over voice comm.
Especially the first week after rank reset is always horrible, seems like all the sweaty swf's come out again to get to rank 1 and then leave the game till next season. The last week before the reset i made it back to rank 1 and stayed there and thought "nice, you've impoved!" only to get trashed after reset in nearly 50% of the games

That definitely comes from the "I'm anonymous and I don't see you as human," mentality. Easy to not care about someone when you don't have to look them in the eye. I swear these people wouldn't dare say something like that in front of your face, but because they can hide behind a screen they think it's totally okay. It's the problem with the gaming community in general, but no one calls it out because a) "everyone else is doing it" and b) there's no way to really call out people that doesn't sound like "telling on teacher."
Yeah a large number of my lost matches are unlucky first hooks, sandbagging teammates(whether intentional or unintentional), etc. A fair number are just me having a bad game, or just playing like garbage because the killer is playing so well. But rank reset just blows that all out of the water, I'm starting to understand why matchmaking can never stabilize, and it rhymes with "blank preset bevery glurfteenth of the punth."

Hell, I run,
Spies From the Shadows, Discordance, Deerstalker
A Nurse's Calling.
And sometimes Franklin's Demise.
And whenever I down survivors in under 2gens left. No Add-Ons and hardly if any, use special abilities. I'll get an entitled Survivor messaging me, blaming their teammates, for being a Trash Killer, every other 3-4 matches.
Like, why the mentality that "you" have the need to waste time messaging that crappy attitude, just because I killed "you" ?

Welcome to the killer life, where everything we do is illegal in the eyes of survivors and if a killer shows exceptional skill or is unique and survivor's don't like it, we get punished for it and are forced by BHVR to do so!

Playing killer is the easiest it’s ever been and I honestly wish that everyone was forced to play a match of 2016-2017 killer just to see what real suffering was like.

I actually prefer playing Killer anyway. Even if I lose it is not that frustrating as being killed.
Survivor have to rely on other survivos to win. You can get teammates that suicide on first hook because there is something they don't like. You can get teammates that waste every pallet without trying to loop once. You can get immersive teammates that hide in corners and lockers instead of doing gens. You can even get teammates that refuse to heal you even if they just have to touch you. You can get all your teammates dying in basement in first minute of the game. All that scenarios lead you to lose even if you are good Survivor.
If you are good Killer you can lose only in 2 scenarios. If you get a bad map or if you get strong swf group.

The game has balance issues and a large quantity of players are overly gleeful about making others' gaming experience miserable.
It's all...so tiresome.

I'm gonna guess you also have some serious holes in your game that need to be worked on but I or anyone else couldn't tell you what you're making mistakes on unless we see gameplay so...onto your build. Ngl that's a pretty bad build for Huntress. Pop and brutal are fine imo but the other 2...I never saw the point of iron maiden, the tracking part of it is really bad and then the animation speed up is almost pointless, considering the speed of the reload animation already. And I wouldn't ever dream of running bamboozle on Huntress. So many easy shots through windows, which is the one thing Huntress doesn't need any extra help dealing with. Running something like whispers, Nurse's or BBQ will help you so much more than these two perks. Scott's Huntress guide and general killer guides are also a good way of maybe picking up something you didn't know, as well as watching good Huntress players like Ralph, umbra, Zubat's old videos etc. Don't watch to see how well they can aim, watch how they play as well as how long they commit to chases and general killer stuff because if you can emulate what they're doing, you'll have a much easier time in your games. And then it's all a matter of practising and letting it come to you naturally.

I see your problem. If you were better with the hatchets, you wouldn't need to use bamboozle and brutal strength. Basically you are handicapping yourself by trying to make up for your hatchet skills by running M1 perks. With Huntress, you want to work on getting hits with your Hatchets at Windows and Pallets. Once you learn that, Bamboozle and Brutal Strength become much weaker perks. (The really good Huntress players will hit you through pallets and windows).

What are you talking about??
Being killer is fun.. if you enjoy being the "bad guy" and are somewhat good at it...
Kill 3 or 4..
If get level 1 loopers make them pay by kiiling them in a camping/tunnel way intentionally (even if i only kill 2) and they will most of the time text after the game is over crying about it.. that's actually the part that i enjoy the most 🤣🤣🤣.. them crying about it.. like it's cool to loop but not to tunnel..
For me it's not about getting to level 1 anymore, it's about having fun.. so looper time is camping time 🤣🤣 let's see who enjoys it more.. 😎
