Its either the green or the yellow depending on the situation:
The green makes the slow 20% making them stick in the gas longer making it last longer(Not as long as the purple one but close enough to ignore the purple).
Edit: The purple increases the slow by a wapping 1 second btw.
The yellow is to counter dead hards/Lithes/BL so this one is completely situational but strong.
So the answer is it depends on the situation but neither will make you be able to instantly catch someone who DSed you.

I can give you the percentages if that's what you're looking for. I'm assuming you wanna combine either bleach or ether 15% with the exhaustion.
Base Hindered on clown: 15%
Hindered effect with bleach: 20%
Base intoxicated duration: 2 seconds
Intoxicated duration with ether 15% vol: 3 seconds
So its either 15% slowdown for 3 seconds or 20% slowdown for 2 seconds. If I were you I'd go with the bleach. Throw one on the DS and reload, pick up eat the DS, then SPAMMMMMMM every second or so.

Yeah I would go for bleach instaed, also cuz I have more (its less rare)
One point you are missing, is throwing 3 bottles to predict a possible DS escape route and the surv got affected at least twice, and keep the 4th bottle for right after to hunt the surv

of course, I mean if the route is clear, like a nearby exit gate open or a 1-way corridor like in the school map
so far is fairly working to counter DS, specially when the surv gets x2 inhalations upon positive route prediction with x3 bottles, DS users are downed fast in approx. 75% of cases

Doesn't clown still have the feather add-ons that, when both are used, make you basically instantly recover from a thrown bottle? Couldn't you use those two add-ons, throw the bottle at the ground and immediately pick up to help with DS or is it not fast enough?

Made me chuckle the other day where the clown tunnelled a guy off the hook. Downed him in a dead zone and then threw all his bottles in the surrounding area so that even with DS the survivor couldn’t escape.

Use the solvent jug with the one one that increase your reload speed those 2 addon together are so good. Be careful with the indoor map they counter clown power a little

Ah I remember the good old days of taking Enduring and throwing a bottle on the ground to counter old DS. Good times. That was one of the best things about Clown.

It does a bit you cant trow your bottle high enough to get a survivor who is working on a gen when you are far from him

With the exaust addon i remove sprint burst. It tell me how many survivor are on that gen if they dont have sprint burst it gave them a slow start they can panic run in my direction and if no one is there i dont need to check it out and i can continu my rotation to the other gen.

I dont the second i save when i do that can be crucial for pgtw. I dont know for you but most of the time i use 2 bottle in a chase so having 3 bottle foe the entire chase dont matter for me

Indoor maps are a godsend for Clown. The plays you can make with wall/ceiling thrown bottles leads to gass filled loops with one toss.
