Hag guide
I will forget about the new killer now because she was rather dissapointing sadly.
I will go back to playing hag and wondered whether you guys can recommend any advanced guys.
I already played lots of hag, p3ed her and have some experience.
Would be happy if you can provide any real advanced / indepths guides/tipps ![]()

If you look at his more recent videos, there's a small update for the recent changes. He also has trapping guides for most maps.DeadByFlashlight said:@SpaceCoconut said:

Well all these tipps were quite helpful, but now I reached rank 2 and SWF completely demolish me.
I am forced to take ruin, there is no way to stall the game with slugging or sth like this because they are all SWF anyway.
When i catch one it doesnt matter how I set up traps, they always bodyblock each other and use BT. they even trigger traps for each other such that the injured survivor can buttfuck the infinite again. At the moment I am desperately avoiding to depip basically, thats all I can do and it makes my quite sad =(

First thing's first, and very simple... trap loops and pallets. The Hag was meant to use her traps to catch people, rather than to simply chase.
Trap spots that you know survivors will run through, and don't use every trap in your arsenal for camping. That sort of defeats the purpose of the traps. Place 1 or maybe 2 at most by a hooked survivor. If placed well enough, you'll usually get survivors to trip them
Never trap inside of a pallet unless you have scarred hand.
If you have a hex perk, don't trap right in front of it. Its too predictable once they find out you're a Hag. Place it a few meters away.
Good builds to run in that Hag include
Build 1:
Ruin
Make Your Choice
STBFL
Deerstalker
Build 2:
Ruin
M&A
Nurse's
BBQ
Build 3:
Haunted Grounds
Devour Hope
Make Your Choice
STBFL
Lisa's Basement: (if you run Mint Rag and Rusty Shackles)
Devour Hope
Make Your Choice
Iron Grasp
Agitation
Late For Dinner Hag (end game Hag):
NOED
Remember Me
Rancor
Blood Warden
Good to pair up with an Ivory/Ebony mori.

I like scared hand and the shoe to block them in the basement, but I will have to try this one too. @SpaceCoconut what do you think about my idea for hags necklace add-ons on the Hag add-on idea 2? Would love your opinion.Doc_W__HOLLIDAY said:

Try running sloppy butcher to make the healing slower, it helps you catch up to the survivors quicker and get even more hits off or make them panic run into your traps..

Ruin doesn't really do anything on red ranks. They hit all the Great skill checks, or they know where all the totem spawns are, or they have two people gen tapping, or they just spawn right on top of it at the beginning of the match anyway. I see tons of streamers talking about how Ruin is needed in every build, then they get into a match and Ruin is cleansed in 30 seconds. Or, the same streamer plays a survivor game and solo finishes a Ruin gen 1:31 seconds into the video (I'm looking at you, Tru3...)
Sloppy Butcher is my go-to for slowing down healing on several killers now, though Coulrophobia is better on those with a larger TR. I still can't get behind SpaceCoconut's Hag Coulro build though. It just doesn't work for me like it does for him.
You really do have to play around with different builds to find the one that works best for you. I have a few that I like on Hag, though M&A & Sloppy are almost always included. Really though, it's less about the build and more about the pressure. As long as you can keep them moving and reacting to you instead of you reacting to them, you can win.
If someone starts going through a set piece on the map and you don't have it trapped, trap it instead of chasing them. If people start setting those traps off, injure them. Having four people injured is almost as good as having one person hooked, and if they're all using SC with Sloppy you're looking at 30 seconds of trap-setting or hunting time.
Some things that may help...
Trap Attrition: Make sure you're resetting traps that have been used. One good idea is to put down a trap before you pick someone up off the ground. After all, at least one survivor thought that was a good place to run to.
Bodyblocking: If there are other survivors around, hit them (or at least chase them away) before you pick up the downed person. If you think they'll prevent you from reaching a hook, it's better to just leave the person slugged and go after the bodyblockers. Even better if all three are hanging around your slug, just keep hitting them. After all, they're not doing gens.
Fake Pickups: If you know there are people around your slug but you can't find them, fake a trap while standing on your slug. Just tap M2 and release, and you'll often find a flashlight pointed at you or a bodyblocker taking position when you stand up.
Pallet Traps: Master the pallet trap. One of the most satisfying things you can do as a Hag is watch someone vault a pallet and then jump right back into your arms when they set off the trap on the other side... especially if you get that sweet "grab them by the throat" animation.
