Should the devs buff the instructions addon for the toolbox?
Ie something along the lines of = can use the toolbox when its out of charges, in order to gain the benefit of this addon - no extra speed simply no skillchecks (for newer players?) same with the audio reduction addon?
idk having these addons on a timer, makes them near useless, when their use relies on not being around a timer, specially the skillchecks one. the audio one you could *theoretically time alongside using technician* to reduce your sounds to 0 to skillfully keep working on a gen hidden, but its so hard and limited in use.

Would be cool to still gain the benefits that's true.

v much so, expecially for addons that don't have a huge effect such as these. could also work passively for medkit addons that increase skill checks for heals, and make them work outside of using the medkit (so long as your still holding it) making autodidact builds somewhat viable?

Yeah passive addon effects would be a great idea, especially for minor qol effects.

Thing is too this wouldn't even be that helpful for better players because they want skillchecks to hit greats so I'd be very happy with this change.

Exactly! seeing as i hit my great skillchecks 99% of the time, it would for me personally just make the game a lot more chill on the survivor side whenever i don't feel like focusing on a gen in a match.

Since BHVR loves to make watered down perks as addons, make it function like Stake Out and give the old 2% Great Bonus
