So they said they had the green light so does that mean they will be releasing it soon or is already released

but in a different way, they meant Soon™ before winter, prob in september's patch

It literally says when it's coming in the post, and that's "very soon" (the first snow... in montreal)
Crossplay is only activated for steam and windows store as of now.

I am so looking forward to seeing actual Cross-Play in DbD. It'll help alleviate matchmaking issues on the console platforms and it'll probably help pad out the lower ranks on PC for faster games.
