Rage quitting Survivors and Killers.
For sometime as both sides in Dead by Daylight game play, if a Killer can not get a proper kill, he or she quits. Also, if a Survivor gets caught, he or she at times quit automatically, therefore it ruins the whole game for not just the Killer, but also for the other people that are trying out the game for their first time or just play the game in general. Above all, I accept my death as a Survivor and I accept my mistakes as a Killer, but it is dishonorable to rage quit as the others try to have fun.

Just playing with a newbie friend of mine and we have several killers ragequiting today already. He is like ######### and I have to explain him the sad truth about the unbalance of DBD and how broken matchmaking is.
Then he compared the game to csgo and said that if you DC there, you get immediate punishment. I explain that DBD has no normal queue and is p2p and that the devs simply didnt think of all the ways how to abuse their mechanics.
Its a really sad chapter of DBD and even the biggest fog streamer the devs support deranks by DCing regularly. Thats kinda ridiculous if we are honest

I suggested to implement a funcition "Avoit as teammate", as they do in Overwatch. just a few ppl have there. I litteraly 3 times in 5 game had the same guy, and he wasn't a new player... but that ways one hell of a NO team player...

I like the avoid as teammate idea because I do use that feature in Overwatch alot.
But what if we also added in a flat 100,000 BP to the opposite side of the team from the quitter?
So say you're a survivor and you rage quit, 100,000 BP instantly to the killer per survivor that quits. Same as if a killer quits all survivors get 100,000 BP because they quit.
Maybe too high an amount but I feel the current amount isn't enough when people quit on me. I'm not even good >.> still noob.1 -

Hmmm a bit much but I'd say 10,000k for every disconnector works. Along with temporary bans.2 -

Just curious, I play on PS4 and I want to see if anyone else is having trouble with getting bloodpoints from a DCing Killer. I've heard that if a Killer DCs during a game, you are supposed to get all of your accumulated blood points, but it seems like that only works 10% of the time. The other day I started with 2136 bloodpoints. Played three games, each time the Killer Dced (Once when we opened the Exit Gate). By the end of those three games, I still had 2136 blood points. Than yesterday I played a game, killer DCed near the beginning, and I gained a few hundred bloodpoints for repairing a gen.
Is this a bug?
Also, to contribute to this post. I feel a DCing Survivor should net the Killer 5000 bloodpoints, and a DCing Killer gives each Survivor 20,000. Basically, give them the full worth of the game they've played.

That would definitely reduce ragequitting a lot because survivors would never donate 100k to the "noob babykiller"

10k doesnt even compensate for the addons/offerings the killer brought into the game
Or do you mean 10k for each DC?

Okay....then explain all this to the "quitters", that they don't have to quit while beeing teabaged, provocated, facing endless looping survivors and playing against SWF all the time......if there won't happen some changes in the near future .. there will be no killers left to play against...
Simply go afk in such games, thats what I do too.
When you hit ranks where you are bullied by SWF, then its time to derank anyway2 -

As far as I know it depends on how the killer leaves the game. If he uses the menu-way of leaving, then you are given your 5k escape points+already earned points. but if he closes the application on PS4, then you get nothign I believe (cant confirm though, PC player here)
Since killers lose their addons, but survivors keep their items, your suggestion wouldnt be fair (not that the current situation is fair )
But DCing should be punished at its core

I'd say instead of the 625 you get now which I've always said is way to low make it 1500-2500 per depending on how long they were in the match.
You could also if all 4 leave within the 1st say 30 seconds to 1 minute the killer gets there items back but only gets the 625 bonus or say 1250 per for a total of 5k if all 4 leave.
It could scale based upon time whether they get the addon(s) back so that way if the match goes for say 10 minutes as an example. They don't get to keep their items if they played that long because they'd have gotten points or should've.

Punishments and bans all around is what I say. dc'ing due to trying to save a pip or because swf teams are better than you are ridiculous. You cant handle playing against a team find a new game. you are mad that you got caught and dont want to lose a lvl? Sorry find a new game, I hear there are openings on minecraft server. Accidental dc's are one thing but ruining another persons gaming experience because you didnt get your way should not be tolerated. Easy fix a 3 dc a day result in a 3 day ban. That way those who internet dropped due to a storm or an emergency have no repercussions and little cry babies are banned for being childish.

It took me a while to think a suggestion and the best that I can think of is "Result of rage quitting will lose a rank, player level, character level, 150,000 blood points, and a suspension to play again for 24-hours." that way, people can learn their lesson about rage quitting is just plain childish and not needed for team play, hence it is a Asymmetrical horror game. Over all, I appreciate everyone viewing and replying to my response on this! Thank you!

I could only imagine what the killer queues would look like if they banned all the dcers and afk survivors lol
