Ebony Mori question
Why don’t they make it so you have to hook a survivor twice before using it? I’ve seen killers heavily deprive themselves of bloodpoints because they’re so thirsty for the mori. Most of them down the survivor, tunnel them off the hook & then mori them.
I just don’t understand the point. You’re losing a lot of blood points by doing this. Can someone explain this to me? 🤨

I save my moris for dickhead survivors. If you get unhooked and then be toxic, imma mori you. If not I try to save them till death hook. That is if someone doesn't DC when loading when they see your bringing a mori

I sometimes bring it along just incase. I remember awhile back seeing a 4 man SWF come into the lobby as identical looking Claudettes. Went ahead and brought the mori because I didnt wanna deal with any DS shenanigans if I cant tell who was freshly unhooked and who was the unhooker ect. Turns out it was a fairly normal game and I didnt actually mori anyone, just hooked like normal.

And I love this too! Mori’s can be fun. I think if it’s a well fought match and I lose (I’m just a casual ol solo queue player anyway), then fine. Mori me lol. It’s a cool animation and fun way to die compared to the hook. But I see a lot of people use the ebony in a way that completely sucks the fun outta the match. Glad to hear there’s killers like you :)

For the most part they just collect dust in my inventory and I try not to buy a 7k item from the bloodweb that I dont wanna use. I WILL pop on a yellow mori from time to time so I can do the cool animation without really affecting the match. I'm one of those though that will be QUITE happy if they rework both moris and keys one day.

Gotta love those killers who mori immediately. Especially when they are playing Spirit and 3 Gateaus are being used.

I'd say when it comes to Gateaus as survivor you want to get those gen points early. Unlike chase and healing points you only have so much objective points you can get in a game.

I think moris would be kinda pointless if you had to hook survivors twice to use it. I was thinking that you should have to hook each survivor once before you can use it. This would offer alot more counterplay without making it useless. The killer would then need to avoid tunneling and have to find and catch each survivor before they can start using the mori. By the time the killer is able to mori the first survivor they will have had to win five chases at least.
