Nothing wrong with either one, keeps the game interesting. Besides, most people that constantly use Moris are toxic anyway and they do me a favor by letting me go to a different match. As for keys, I like them. Makes it so that you can't ever really trust your friends. Last night, I had a flashlight and randomly searched a box with no luck based perks and I found an escape key. I held onto it to look for the hatch. I did this cause it was me and a Dwight and Claudette left. Map was Auto Haven and killer was a Ghostface. Dwight literally hid the entire match as camera spectating confirmed this after I escaped. Claudette was too afraid to tackle the last generator and this Ghostface wasn't even that good. I fixed majority of gens, found the hatch, escaped. Match went on for ages cause both were too afraid to hit the last gen. Claudette got hooked when doors were open and I was rooting for her. She jumped off the hook and I was cheering and they both escaped. So yes, keys can be good to leave a boring match.

Pretty much what I always do. Both things are extremely broken.

feels fair

I don't mind the keys but I tunnel if they hook off (farm) a survivor in my face 🤣

I have never used keys. That is why I have about 70 of em.
And haven't used a mori as a killer, outside of the occasional daily, in over a year and a half.
I think both are bs, although I get why new killers use them. They are fun at first, then you get good and prefer the bloodpoints.
I think keys should let out 1 person. And cypress mori should be basekit for killers.
Then you could still get 2 people out of a hatch if they are last 2 alive, as it would stay open for last survivor.
And killers would always have a chance of seeing their mori animations.

Fair.

Ok, I bring a key when the killer brings a mori... oh wait, nvm. :(

I dont use moris long ago

I have over 40 for pink/purple keys, but I never use them. I want to use the green key, but the killer has no way of knowing I have a broken key and always assume it's a pink/purple one. I don't blame them, but it sucks I can't use a green key.

I play both sides and I don't use either of them.

an offering that changes and greatly simplifies the game to the killer and a pathetic key that you can use almost never since Mori killed you all are completely not equal things. Now, if a glitch appeared at the start of the match is another matter, or at least after the 2nd wound generator then at least as something close to the truth.

As someone who equally plays on both sides. When I play as my survivor main I bring my fist if the killer brings a mori😎.

One issue is not exclusively tied to another. Although I hope Moris are reworked first because they are the single most unfun, broken feature in the game.

What you describe probably wouldn't be an issue if there was a proper system in place to dissuade people from stalling out the game to such a degree. The current AFK crow system doesn't cut it because it is too easy to prevent it from triggering while still being stealthy.

Question: Why are keys and flashlights so hated? I mean the flashlight I don't really get because the darn thing barely works (especially in my hands that equals doesn't work at all lol) and the key? I'm lost. Can someone please explain why. :-D

I never said u do? Was just throwing this out here bc there is no indicator for survivors if the killer has a mori to react the same way aka equipping a key if there is a mori (disclaimer: not saying there should be). So it only works one way^^
its a bit frustrating if you dominate the team (while playing "fair"), they get 3/5 gens done and the match just ends bc they have a key (2 people escape). Imo its okay if the last surv escapes through hatch, bc most killers slug for the 4k anyways (I dont like to drag the game out, would rather go into my next match).

@Fiv55 thank you. That makes sense :-)

I’ve been playing this game for almost a year and never used an Ebony Mori until recently.
Got into a lobby where two survivors had keys and didn’t feel like dealing with the BS so I just equipped a Mori. Ended up Mori’ing the two key users. Felt pretty good. Still won’t use it regularly but now have a thing where if there’s two or more key users in the lobby I’ll bring a Mori to compensate.

Okay, and I also give Moris when see suspicious of DS, SWF with Lauries, toxic nicknames and so on

Not even close to that.

I don't like ebony moris and I don't like keys. I wish they'd get rid of both.

I love watching killers get triggered when I have a green broken key with the ability to track the other survivors. They load an EM and figure out it was all sweat for nothing.
That is why I try to not get triggered over items being brought in. If I am concerned, I'll load Franklin's. Otherwise, I make sure I keep situational awareness so I pay attention if the game has gotten to where the hatch might be spawned and a key might be present.

I don’t, I don’t really care that much.
If they escape cuz of a key my reaction is always “eh, you have died without it”. And I move on to the next match.
