Is there another eldritch beast interfering with the trials besides the Entity?
A lot of the things that at first glance should be gameplay mechanics have their lore in-universe. Just not things like disconnects and hatches and their keys. maybe even moris.
Is there another eldritch being meddling into the Entity's affairs that provides this? Is it in lack of a better word benevolent to the survivors? Or is it even worse than the Entity at bottom line?

Do you mean is there some form of benevolent being that is sneakily trying to aid survivors in escaping the killers and the realm of the Entity? Would it be a person, or another form of being like the entity?

question would be: if it exists, is it benevolent. It has to have power to create things that are beneficial to the survivors (hatch etc), but that won't mean it's on the side of the survivors
