PS4/Console players: cross-play is coming

I googled it; the first snow in Montreal was November 7 last year, so some time in the next 3 1/2 months cross-play comes in.

Is anyone else looking forward to the hope of much shorter que times and even the possibility of less terrible random survivor squads while solo queuing but also fully prepared to be going "Nah, that person is obvs on PC so they've got an unfair advantage 😤" about a week after cross-play starts?

    I think if there's a "Console vs Console" version that'd be fine. It is weird watching streamers play DbD on PC and then jump on PS4 version and get confused why there's so many little differences.

    Honestly, I'm just glad I will be able to play with my friend now since he's mostly a PS4 player.

    I'm probably going to take a break after crossplay comes.

    Because you just know there will be an influx of hackers. I mean, I've already faced a few Windows Store crossplay globes on PS4 and crossplay doesn't officially exist yet.

    Call me paranoid, but I think it's gonna be utter insanity those first few days.

    I'm disabling the cross-play when it comes and gladly take the longer que times. Or I'll just play my other 36 PS4/PS3 games I haven't played yet. Cross-play without proper console optimization is big middle finger for the console player base.

    Because it will give the illusion that Q times will go down (countless posts on this has many folks deceived) 4 to 1 ratio is the same on all platforms. This will buy the devs even more time to do nothing.

    Probably the upcoming graphics update will make framerate better, but we will have to wait and see.

    I'm looking forward to crossplay so I can SWF with my friends on PS4 n XB1 when I play on Switch

    The thing I’m not looking forward to is facing hackers. You don’t come across them on PS4 and you can find them a lot on PC. I just don’t want to come across that stuff when I’m trying to play.

    If they would change EAC to something else to cuck the hackers we would be better off. But I concur.
