SWF after SWF after SWF after SWF
At least 4 out of 5 in the match are having fun and a chance.

Okay?
16 -
How do you know they are SWF?
7 -
I feel you man. Take a break from PvP games, most of the time the other people aren't playing to have fun they're just trying to be as toxic as they can. Find some fun single player games, DbD is something you need breaks from.
13 -
You just have to check their profil most of the time
6 -
That only works some of the time. Just because they might all share the same language, doesn't guarantee they are swf.
People are just too quick to call swf.
5 -
You always have to guess , but if their are friends on steam, the odds that their are SWF are quite high but yeah that always a guess
1 -
Yea if they are then fair enough but I don't think you can check friend lists that quick before a game.
0 -
Yes, SWF is reason i stop play killer after few games. SWF clearly broke game and devs have they eyes closed, keep ignoring balance problem.
7 -
"Oh no! Survivors that are decent in Solo Q?! That must be a SWF! Gosh darn them for being better than most survivors!"
9 -
If they are playing on the pc, they can check the profile of the user and see if they are friends.
6 -
If they dont suicide on hooks, its SWF!
4 -
Im the only one which actually like facing SWF ? I meant yes its harder but its in those situations you can use some perks at their best like blood warden because you know they will mostly not leave without their friend and they all have to tbag at gates lol
Plus with SWF you can predict lots of things to happens, in a full game of "solos" they re less altruistic in general and act less or more randomly about each others
1 -
Sorry, English is not my primary language and I lost the meaning of your "Okay?" after my post. Are you agreeing, disagreeing or just making fun? Not a problem. Just wanna get it.

Just play it out. Believe it or not. Playing against swf's will actually make you better at the game because you have to try that much harder to win making your victory that much sweeter. Not all games will be a breeze in the park and I think some people have yet to accept that.
5 -
Tunnel after Tunnel after Tunnel after Tunnel
5 -
No game should ever be a "breeze in the park", but matches shouldn't make you sweat for a win either. Good teamwork will always offer up a decent challenge for any Killer, but SWF will always have the advantage. Not only can they communicate with each other about where the Killer is and what they're doing, but they can proceed to do that even after death. And if they're all equipped with roughly the same strong perks like BT, DS, Adrenaline, OoO, etc, and play very toxic, then the killer will be lucky to walk away with 20k bp, let alone pip. With matchmaking being as borked as it is too, encountering SWF red rank teams is more likely than ever, and if your Killer is green ranked or above, then you don't have a prayer.

he means no one cares and you're not on any special case, and that you should just get used to like everyone else

Yes SWF can cause balance issues. Yes solo survivor sucks because some killers play like every group is a SWF. Yes solo sucks because the majority of survivors are actually low skill and can't contribute to the escape. In the end, solo play, which is solo survivor and killer, can be a terrible experience.
1 -
Tks for explaining.
0 -
"SWF is why I lost" is an awful excuse.
3 -
They may not even be swf. I play solo and I've had many games where my team and I played so well together, you'd think we were a swf (I mean they could have been).
-off topic- Not anymore though because I just get potatoes anymore (rank don't matter... their all new). Which is why I don't play much anymore... that and baby killers....
(XboxOne)
1 -
sure, assume swf in every game because you performed poorly
1 -
That's because solo survivor is almost not playable for most.
We are pushing this game into a corner.
4 -
Swf groups with a huge advantage is one thing, but the worst part is most are toxic as hell. There’s the one with OoO, the one with the flashlight, and the two with toolboxes dedicated to genrush.
They cant just play normally no, their intention is to try and annoy the killer as much as possible
8 -
in red ranks you will have some form of SWF in at least 90% of your matches, 2 man minimum.
2 -
there is a tool on the darkside of the internet that checks the steam profiles + friendlist (if public) and tells the killer if they're an swf. But as said: this only works if the profiles are public / at least one profile thats public.
1 -
One of the many broken things that pc players can take advantage of.
0 -
Oh no, i don't make fun of you.
It's just that SWF is a big part of the game, seeing SWF match after match is pretty common.
I personally think SWF being able to talk with eachother is a balancing problem, but blocking the ability to chat with your friends seems very anti-QoL to me.
Plus you can't stop friends having a LAN party from chatting.
Removing SWF altogether is no good either, it'll be dodge galore all over again.
4 -
Why assume? I started checking friends lists and found that, whilst most of my trials had a SWF, the ones where I had no chance at all had 3-4 person parties.
1 -
Tks for your polite explanation. :)
0 -
you don't have to assume most group are swf i'm sure most are swf maybe not 4man group but 2man or 3man group for sure how solo are most play with friends now.
swf with voice chat braindead easy i played 6 matches with 4 friend started out as 3 we added some random all matches we all got out.

it feels the exact same way playing the game solo survivor too. Death after death after death after death. Only thing is, survivors have to rely on others you don’t. Maybe it’s not the games fault it’s your fault.

You can explain this until you're blue in the face and people will still offer the same responses. It's exhausting. I think out of all the topics, this one annoys me the most.

Sadly I agree.

and for good measure here's the other one too because it's just as funny

It's a huge balancing problem that has gone unaddressed, but no one is asking for it to be removed. I don't think the OP is either, it's just frustrating to play against. Even that one weird comparison someone made to tunneling doesn't add up. Voice-coms are not a part of the game and the game wasn't made for it.

There is no way youre running into 4 man SWF that frequently.
I see SWF in almost every game, but a four man only happens like 1 out of every 10 games. I mostly end up with duos. I actually like vsing duos. They play smart for the most part, and they usually play SWF like it was intended.
3 -
Definitely agree with the last part.
0 -
play survivor then for a change, maybe you'll have some fun?? idk, i'm sorry
2 -
if you are experienced killer its very easy to know if someone is a swf just by seeing how coordinated they are
2 -
A team can be coordinated and not in an SWF. Obviously, if there is an OoO in the team its safe to assume they are on a SWF.
1 -
Yes and no. I have been in plenty of matches with other good survivors where I know the killer will assume we’re a SWF by the way we’re playing but I’m in a solo lobby. Sometimes it’s 2 SWF and 2 strong solo survivors. Sometimes it’s literally just 4 strong solo survivors. It isn’t difficult to play co-ordinated without being on mic to each other. Especially with certain perks.
1 -
Especially since 4 man swf is a minuscule percentage of all games. And even then the tryhard ones are less common.
But every game yeah totally 4 man swf every game.

Dead swf, after dead swf, after dead swf, after dead survive with friends!

Simply telling people to "take a break" is a dissmissive comment that neither adds anything to the conversation, nor does it make sense to tell players to take a break, when it's other players that are a problem. All that does is ignore the problem, and let it get worse.

As someone who has a habit of looking through profiles I can say that almost every game there is at least a 2 man SWF. 4 man solos are just as rare as 4 man SWFs.
And ususally 2-3 man SWFs aren't notably harder than 4 man solos. But a full 4 man is a huge spike in difficulty. Unless they are potatoes or just meme around it's usually a loss for an average killer.

The problem is people. Nothing we on the forums or the devs behind the game can do to fix that. They can implement things to help reduce it but they'll never eliminate toxic people. So with that logic, the only real thing you can do is take breaks. Unless you can be like Rick & Morty and pass everyone through a de-toxicifer.

People playing the game together is the problem?
Not the killer who refuses to take a tough game and learn from it, but would rather ######### on the forums that the game is too hard?
Right.
0 -
Yes. They can do things to reduce the toxicity. However they are failing to do so, and ignoring the problem because when it get's talked about people come in and simply dismiss it and going as far as to tell the friendly people to not even play the game. BHVR needs to start taking the report system more seriously and start hitting players back for overly toxic behvaior. People should stop being okay with players being told to kill themself 3+ times a day in the run of just 2 hours of playing.

Killers take this way too far, and I say that as someone who plays 50/50 killer and SOLO survivor only.
I routinely have killers comment, “nice SWF,” simply because we make a BT save during end game and then run a body blocking train out the door robbing him of his one camping/tunneling kill.
Nope sorry not SWF, but when you literally stand next to the hook for a minute you give the three randoms plenty of time to heal up and all head in for a save.
