Damned if you do, damned if you dont?
So I just had a match where I would have 4K'd the entire survivor team without them getting a single gen done.. I literally had all of them on death hook and decided to be nice and allow them to finish the gens.. Yet survivors still get upset because "They dont want to farm".
Apparently being nice is a bad thing now too?

If the killer has us all on death hook at 5 gens I'd rather just die then farm with them

A lot of people hate to farm. It is insanely boring.

Well, many players are against the farm. They would rather DC or play fair and move to the next game. As for me, I'm not against it, on the contrary, if I need to escape due to the challenge, I'm up for a nice killer lol. If I play killer, I can farm only when there is some stupid challenge needs to be done. Like grab someone when they are on a gen or in a locker with Iron Maiden, or throw hatchets while being 15 meters away. If killer lets us do gens I don't complain afterwards 😗

Just learn that survivors would always complain no matter what. Stop caring about them, you won't get any commendation anyway, so have fun.

I didnt really see it as farming since it was utter destruction.. I saw it as being nice and allowing them to get some points since they used cakes. In my mind farming would legit be walking up and being docile, letting them pallet stun you, repeatedly hitting and letting them heal, unhook, chasing them without hitting them.. but to each their own I guess?

I've been the survivor in situations like this. I usually have killer sacrifice me at end of match because they should get those sacrifice points, they didn't have to farm when they dominated like that.

I love farming, but generally when one gets stomped that hard they'd rather take the L and move onto the next game.
It's nice that you wanted to give them more points though, even if you weren't "farming" farming (as in letting everyone escape).

In that situation, everyone knows that the survivor team had already lost and are only potentially surviving by the mercy of the killer.
If everyone was on death hook and you were planning to let them all go, then the survivors now have to play Gen-Repair Simulator for a few minutes and leave. They can expect that there will be no more meaningful survivor-killer interactions in that match, no more challenge, and no more tension. Just pressing a button every so often on a gen (exciting).
Long and short, letting survivors escape in that way is just really boring for everyone involved. Unless they were doing some kind of achievement or challenge that required them to escape the trial at the end, most of them would probably rather just see killer finish the match so that they could try again in a new one (instead of killer taking a victory lap while letting survivors farm).

I've never understood the let everyone escape because I did well at the start play. If you let the last guy or two go after a full game sure but if it crashes and burns early just get it over with say gg and move on, it saves everyone some time.

Best post in thread. If they're nice they're going to be nice, if they're buttpirates they're going to act like that anyways. Nothing you can do.

As others have said, some people just want to play the game as intended. I however, love it when survivors and Killers farm together, namely when there's cakes or bloody party streamers on the line. Nothing worse than having a match last less than five minutes because a killer brought in a Mori, and everyone else brought in cakes. 😕
Bloodpoints are the lifeblood of DBD, and if I can walk away with upwards to a hundred thousand or more bloodpoints, then I say go for it!

I'd take the points any day xD These perks in my bloodwebs don't buy themselves, you know lol.
