Why xbox? (mmr)
the new mmr system is being tested on xbox first.
why xbox?
everything is usually tested on pc... I don't get it.
is there any particular reason for it?

I found that very odd as well, especially since console killers are virtually handicapped compared to PC. Why would you not want to test in the purest environment available, especially since crossplay is imminent? Is the player base smaller on Xbox or something? I don't get it...

I ask myself that too, also, why no crossprogression for xbox and ps4?? Instead, do it on the steaming pile of ######### called Stadia, c'mon, I'm sick of playing on switch and would love my data on my One, I still wonder those questions.

Im guessing because theyre hoping to fix the being able to see who the killer is issue.
That said im still getting a ton of yellows, they seem to be better than the straight noobs ive been getting but still not good enough to put up a fight

It really shouldn't be like that tho, crossprogression should be every console no matter what and not specific console, that doesn't make any sense that Sony/Microsoft would only be able to crossprogression and not Nintendo/Microsoft, same goes for Sony

Im assuming XBOX has the least population, and so the new matchmaking is attempting to solve XBOX queue times while simultaneously providing good enough quality matches through MMR.

Because their main player base is steam so when they run into the inevitable 100 issues they'll run into, they'd rather not piss us off even more.

It’s that they won’t allow it right now, don’t blame BHVR they can’t do anything if Microsoft and Sony won’t allow cross progression, don’t ask WeLL WhY because we don’t know

I'm also tired of playing on Switch, but want it on my
AirplanePS4. But BHVR isn't to blame on this one, it's Sony and Microsoft. Hopefully they change their mind. On Switch skillchecks are way harder to hit, and the game doesn't run as well. And there's no Freddy. But it'll take me a LONG time to get back everything, not to mention a whole lot of money. (I mean I don't mind supporting BHVR. I've bought Pig and Leatherface and Myers on two consoles JUST to support them, and because I do enjoy playing them. Much love to the devs for trying for crossprogression on those consoles).0 -

A new matchmaking system that's basically like this;
- If you're a god at Trapper but bad on Nurse, you're gonna get matched against god survivors as Trapper and bad survivors as Nurse.
