Shapeshifter killer will be our savior to bring back the fun of playing killer
Imagine a surv-like killer that can hide in lockers, revert progress gens/exit gates, bring back totems/hooks to life
With add-ons you can choose the surv appeareance same as the ones of a match or not. There should be some signs to identify the killer like red eyes at low range or breathing strange. Probably the killer would need to transform into a werewolf to attack, like wise the Wraith, or probably just as surv possessed by the entity, or with add-ons. As for weapon, I think it would be cook a big variety of them: baseball bat, katana, scissors...
I am sure there will be a shapeshifter before DBD dies, it is so needed and matching with the killers puzzle, jumpscares are guaranteed within a skeptical games of "who is the killer?"

The issue with a shapeshifter is that anyone on comms invalidates the entire power.

What Legion could (should) have been... I've always wanted a disguise killer and the Legion teaser/chapter name SCREAMED it. But SWF destroys any chance at a disguise killer being made.

Okay? That doesn't change the fact they'd be utter neutered by a large section of the playerbase, no matter which side you play.
I've started playing primarily killer this past month because survivor is literally torture at this point. Doesn't change the fact I recognise swf would massacre this poor sod.
Maybe you're tired of hearing it because it's true?

Sorry, but SWF voice-comm will render a shapeshifter power useless... if not for that, great idea.

SWF only neutralizes the location of the killer, but nothing of his/her other powers like reverting progress, hide in locker or bring back to life totems and hooks...

I had fun playing killer last night. Not sure what is keeping you from having fun, but it is likely your opinion on what fun is. Pretty subjective topic.
Back to having fun chasing survivors.

So you run bond, which the killer would have to show up on else the power be invalidated, and then you get a better version of object.
Theres no use to a killer who can do that if he can't kill people. They'll instantly be awful just because they can't get an easy jump. It'll be an easy solo stomper but swf would remain a powerhouse, the absolute opposite of what we need in balance.

Okay, and as someone who mains Killer, I don't wanna play a Killer whose power can just be rendered useless if the survivors are on comms.

Yeah the thing would be interesting, maybe you take on the form of the survivor you just hit and gain no terror radius or red stain for x amount of time.
Also killer is still fun, I had a great time over the weekend pulling people out of traps and hanging them on hooks. I ate a few livers and hearts with hag too slrrp :).
