PS4 lag - anyone else?
For the last couple hours my game is pretty much unplayable. I can get away with survivor, but killer just makes me want to smash the TV lol. Teleporting and rubber banding all over the place, and I usually don't lag that bad when playing. DbD is the only thing being screwy. In the last few lobbies I've been in it shows the other survivors at 100+ ping almost constantly. Is something going on with the PS4 servers?

They were fine for me earlier today. The only time I got really bad lag was when lockdown was at its peak as everybody was at home and using up the broadband. But other then that, it’s been fine for me. I’m playing in Europe. Not sure where you are?

Hmm ok, thanks for the replies anyway. Yeah my game was fine all day, it just started bugging out about five-ish(?) hours ago and hasn't went back to normal. Hoping it's just this way for the night, but ridiculously frustrating when you're like walking up a staircase and get teleported back down to the bottom like 9 times over lol.

That’s what it was like for me. I would go to hit somebody and they would vanish into thin air, only to them be about 30 metres behind me. I just had to DC as it was completely unplayable. Thankfully it’s gone back to normal now. Hope yours returns soon. 🤞🏻

Yeah for real. And then I have people teabagging me because they think I just suck and can't keep up with them in a chase x D

Well hopefully your game fixes itself soon. It’s definitely not something you can play with lag.

Lmao well I mean I expect the teabagging... it's just that it's actually exceptionally annoying when you're being taunted and literally can't move correctly haha.

I had the same issue and fixed it! What I did was go to ps4 settings and set up internet then change the frequency band from 5GHz to 2.4GHz
