We, the killer community need to let the devs know that locking killers while in the lobby is a bad idea.
I reached Purple Ranks, because low ranked games were getting boring....and this is my second Purple Ranked game.
I did what everyone on the forums advises killers to do, switch at 5 seconds. I did, I clicked Doctor, and waited until the last 5 seconds then switched to Spirit.
I've never seen it happen to ME, until this individual said something fishy in chat.
"Interesting Doctor Game tbh"
All survivors should have their perks locked, along with items the moment they click "READY."
This will destroy much of the dwindling killer community.

I'm not saying that's what happened, but it MIGHT have been that bug where the wrong killer power was shown at the end game scoreboard.
I've seen a fellow survivor say something similar before after a match against a Hag, something like "That's a cool demogorgon skin you got there" and in that case the end-game scoreboard actually reported their killer power as Demogorgon's (along with not showing their perks).
EDIT: And this seems to be client side too, so some players might see it while others don't. When I played survivor with a friend we had different people affected by the no-perks bug in the same end-game lobby.
If they said what they said and they had Calm Spirit (unless it was the survivor with that very same "no perks" bug there) that'd be a 🤔 moment. But even then the only way to actually do something about the whole see-who-the-killer-is thing is to make it so people can't actually do it (fix the log file). Because unless they explicitly admit that was what they were doing there's no way to actually conclusively prove they did it.

Love how survivor exploits are being ignored.
If this had a benefit to killers it would have been fixed in a week.
Stretched res literally makes the game unplayable but they are not changing how the game interacts with it are they?

Um, I'm pretty sure OP is a survivor main, that defends DS and OoO, but ok.

100% agree. Also, delete that app that lets you see what killer you are as well. Survivors shouldn't be able to last second switch to items like keys or flashlights.

They tried to fix it with the Silent Hill chapter, if you're talking about the see-who-the-killer-is thing. But people found another way to do it in a few days. I've seen posts talking about some sort of log file encryption being tried on the recent PTB and if that's true that should take care of the problem for good.
Stretched res can only be fixed by changing the way the game treats resolution from the ground up. DBD is a borderless windowed mode game that doesn't even have resolution options, it just matches a player's desktop resolution to fill the entire screen and the only in-game way to mess with it is resolution scaling as opposed to traditional resolution options.
The only real way to fix it is to enforce exclusive fullscreen mode with "approved" resolution options maintaining a monitor's aspect ratio.

They're probably referring to the glitch that shows you as a different killer in the stats screen
It doesn't look like they built around Doctor, I don't see any Calm Spirits or Technician

That glitch shows for everyone, including the killer, I believe.
I run Doc a lot lately, and because of this I've coincidentally been getting a heck ton of Calm Spirit users....which hasn't even come close to meta. So I just run Restraint, now, to show their aura when they are shocked, whether they scream or not.

If you have a playerbase that is this dedicated to cheating and exploiting the game, then measures like this need to be put in place.

I believe they’re aware of the issue and fixing it in the mid chapter.
Also interesting that Spirit with Stridor and strong add ons wasn’t an automatic 4K there.

The exploit is a thing. In this instance though, unless the survivor with n/a perks is the one who said that line, this is probably just the glitch where they see the wrong killer power in the tally screen. We can see 3 out of 4 survivors' perks and there's not a single calm spirit or even quick & quiet, nothing that suggests they were planning to play against doc.

The DC was at the beginning, then I just threw the game.
Zarina was making 0 noise with Stridor, you can tell by our conversation. I just....I didn't want to play anymore after the DC.
The Exploit just...made me switch to survivor after that.

The killer need to be locked in order for individual killer ranking to work. Survivors still need to be able to change their loadout, because solo survivors have just 1 minute to coordinate before the match starts.
But logfile encryption should be here as soon as possible, i agree on that.

Of course, however survivors should be locked into their items way sooner than the match starts so theres no last second switching that survivors like to do.

Understandable, but as a solo survivor myself.
I hit ready when I'm 100% ready and I do not change a thing while I'm in the count down lobby. I usually grab a drink or hit the restroom during that minute.

This bug has been around since a few months to be honest. You cannot see skills, sometimes you can see only the wrong power, sometimes you only can see the power and some wrong addons...
Fun fact, it happens mostly to the killer, but sometimes survivors aren't showed up with skills or offerings too... We only need to hope they find and fix that annoying bug.
