New matchmaking are you serious

I play both killer and Survivor.

So let me get this right me a lvl1 killer

Can decide to play trapper who I never play and with my 1000+ hours of experience face survivors with maybe 20 hours and just stomp them. Way to go on fixing your broken matchmaking. I have an idea why not add 20 more levels and add a casual mode end a competitive mode then you wouldn't really have that many matchmaking difficulties or Here's a thought make rank have to do with skill not time played because with this new matchmaking system can easily be abused by Killers such as myself think about it

They would end up being brang back to their level only after a few games anyways, like smurfs in the other games.

Well, placement matches is what is required for that to work, really.

You play like 5-10 rounds with people across most ranks (mostly 5-15, if ranks would indicate skill) and then mm should place you on X rank depending on how you play during these games.

Don't see any issue with it, tbh.

I doubt it would even place you against rank 20 0 hr meg as your level 1 trapper whom you have never played before, but got all other killers on p3 lvl 50 and all perks unlocked.

Yeah for like what? 3 matches until it gives you stronger survivors again?

Beats the alternitive of never wanting to play your weaker killers by a long shot

I hope your right because I just played 3 games as. Pyramid Head I just bought him and in all three games I face level 17 to 20s and I just felt bad I ended up leting two of them live Each time and with the experience gap it just wasn't fun and I want to play more of him I was just worried it be a continuous thing until I got more hours on him you know

I think having no rank requirements is probably the best. Having a ranking system does help with encouraging people to play the game, but having visible ranks in a game like this isn't the way to go, nor is an MMR system. They should just have MM match everyone equally, and in the chaos they can make changes to improve the experience of players. You'll have good matches and bad matches, the balance will be to have players play more good matches than bad matches. The benefit of this is that you don't have to wait long for queues so if you have a bad match you can quickly find another match.

Brown ranks erode away rather quickly.

    Yeah I agree with you

I would like to see a casual mode and a competitive mode though i think that would be fun. Especially for the try hards
