It's true. He can instantly down the entire team at the start of a match, patrol every gen non-stop, and is further enhanced by perks that also do the same thing. What other killer can do the same thing?
Though that appears to be reason enough to keep things the way they are. Because there's a killer to counter it no?
The upcoming rework will make him more humble. He'll have to manage his resources. Maybe actually basic attack something that isn't someone fresh off the hook.
Every other killer for months/years had some disadvantage and followed the base guidelines of how to play and what happened to them? They're all in C tier. Because the game is designed around S killers.
With this trend of nerfing S tier killers, the devs can finally gauge what survivor tools are too effective. Survivors have been constantly nerfed and still they're at the top. Now they'll have even less standing in the way of their day of reckoning. The Billy enabling is over. The survivors must be weakened!

Good survivors would never allow them to get chainsawed in a chase. Loops countered him completely, and against good survivors, he would only get his chainsaw hits from longsaws. Maybe a really good curve on unsafe loops can down someone. However, I do agree this might be healthy, because gens might not go as fast.

I’m willing to bet that once the trial warmup is implemented, the devs are going to nerf every single stall Perk into the ground to compensate.
So instead of 3 gens going off at the beginning of the match, 5 are going to go off right after.

Considering none of his addons are even close to being good I think he has been nerfed sufficiently.

He is though. You have a FREE and EASY TO USE instant-down on demand. One that also provides the best mobility in the game and enormous map pressure

Im confused, because billy (good billy players not like me who just like running around) was one of the few killers who could Counter the genrush meta because he had the mobility and tools to get engaged just as quickly. If they are trying to balance for c tier killers then i dont see why we dont get more basic m1 killers, Or killers lacking powers that have direct affects on gameplay. In a way i guess that is what we are seeing, more killer that have limitations on powers or can only use in certain circumstances. Pig has ridiculous RNG on her boxes, plagues strong power depends on survivors to cleanse, pyramid heads teleport doesnt give info and warps to other side of the map. Clowns bottles..... Just gonna leave clown there lol.
I just feel maybe sawing off the legs of every killer or restricting their powers through RNG cooldown or survivor controlled interaction doesnt really scream."Killer is a fun role you know you want the thrill of the chase!" To me, it screams more of 'Take.our survivors through a tour of the entities map"
Edit: wow i went off topic my bad. In terms of genrush, i though billy as a killer was better against the genrush than others so, but i kinda understand why he helped force it too. Though i think the reasons are different than what you or I think

Yes his power has been nerfed considerably both addon and overheat wise
Myers can instantly kill people with tombstone piece and have permanent insta downs with fragrant tuft of hair
Ghost face is myers and pigs second cousin twice removed the only difference is he has a stronger base kit and only a few good addons

You should tell the other survivors to stop gen rushing then when they aren't playing against a Billy. Unless every survivor is mistaking every other killer for Billy.

Gen rush was to combat Billy.

If you're at the top of the meta, you are the meta. Leaving everyone else to sputter.
It's the same logic as old Ruin. You learn to deal with it immediately and all other hexes suffer since they have no lasting power despite not actually being in play.

Once again your logic has no weight to it..hexes by and large are poor because the design is poor..most hexes shouldnt even be hexes..ruin didnt magically make other hexes weaker it was the only one worth the risk..the answer should be to being what's lower up, that way everyone gets more enjoyment out of these things

As a console player, I welcome more Nurse games.
I've also played against more Hillbillies than anyone in these forums can imagine, so I'm a little over going against him.
I also prefer to keep the add-ons out of the conversation for as long as possible. Yes, Myers can just delete people and have permanent Tier III, and I find those both annoying and unfair. Pig's add-ons are detrimental half the time and an RBT kill is more rare than an ethical facecamp.

It raised awareness by being prevalent in every match. If you didn't learn to find a hex fast, you suffered. Same with playing against a killer who will win unless you do the objective as fast as possible because you're not given time to breath.
Nowadays it's more Haunted Grounds Roulette. But that's an issue with suffering the effects, not actually finding and breaking them.

You had to hit great skill checks. All the time. 24/7. Without taking into consideration any other variable that effected skillchecks. Hitting regular would stall progression. Everyone just hunted down the totem.

And skillchecks are completely random you can work on a generator and get 0 skillchecks the entire time or you can get thrown 10 in a row because the game decides it doesn't like you. Old ruin has the same issue that Lullaby has in that the perk is only as strong as rng allows it to be. Old ruin could completely prevent gens from getting done if the survivors weren't good at hitting greats consistently and the game throws a ton of skillchecks at them, but on the other hand get good players who can get hit consistent greats and rng that throws a couple of skillchecks and the perk may as well not even exist that game.

This is just a conspiracy theory with zero evidence to back it up to justify unjustifiable nerfs.
Ps: This happened before with nurse where all these conspiracy theories popped up saying survivors are only doing X/Y/Z because of nurse only for survivors to continue to do X/Y/Z even after the nurse's nerf.
Killers ultimately have very little to do with how survivors play as survivors are the ones who dictate how the game goes for the most part.

Nurse is a broken killer riddled with bugs. Gen rush is not the killers fault, its another hurdle of the several safety nets that survivors have. Gen rush the game, cant genrush? Just run pallet to pallet and drop them mindlessly because they are everywhere, still got downed? That's fine, just use DS, SB, DH, and once the last gen is done reap your Adrenaline crutch and t-bag out the door.

It's only a few killers fault. Because Freddy, or Billy can deal with it easily. It was the go to answer whenever someone took issue with it. Just play Billy. Just play Spirit. You don't see the correlation between the two?
They'll have to focus on it with a dwindling number of characters who can deal with it.
I've questioned it before and survivor players don't want a mechanic that punishes them for doing well, and neither does killer. So where does the compromise come in?

Survivors can do what they want. Unless they have the possibility of failure breathing down their necks, theyll never feel the need to actually try to win.
If only a feq killers can make survivors actually focus on their objective instead of "totally like, mess around and talk about cute boys, good vibing" , then either survivors are too strong for most killers, or those killers are too weak.
Cutting off the top killers doesnt help the cause.

the game has 2 problems, way too safe loops all over and huge maps, gen speed is not the problem map sizes are increible safe set ups are.- i dont usually have problems in smaller maps like lerys, saloon, the game and so on. then need to make maps smaller so are more balanced.

Yeah - Whenever I'm playing Trapper or Clown and 2 gens pop across the map before I can even physically get there thanks to god-tier survivor spawns, I always shake my fist and say, "Damn you, Billy!"
Your logic is unbelievably flawed, as you're attributing optimal survivor play to a completely irrelevant thing.
