Dear Survivors, DC is a kill
One of my favorite "newer," things is survivors DC-ing because of killer, addon, time of day, whatever and they sticking around to gloat endgame that you couldn't even kill them... HUH
The best was 3 people quitting against Clown and telling me "Baby killer with Pop and Surge only got 1 kill." Uhm, I got 4 kills moron just because you quit didn't mean you didn't lose!

They know they all got killed. They're just trying to make you mad. Just say "rofl," and go to your next match.

So much this. Was playing a game where I closed the hatch and downed the person during EGC. They DCed and boasted about it in end game chat, saying that they denied me the kill. Survivors make me laugh.

I'm more sad when survivors DC early and deny me a BBQ & Chili stack. A truly cruel and despicable action.

I think they know, they just don’t care.

Same when they die from end game collapse and claim you didn’t get the kill even though it still technically counts as a sacrifice.
But gg ez though right baby killer

I just don't understand survivors who DC on death hook then proceed to 'gloat' about their denied kill. I mean, who really lost in that situation? Me, as killer who gained chase points and hook points, or the survivor who just earned a nice big 0 BP because their ego was hurt.

Technically you did lose. You lost a BBQ aura reveal or Pop proc, Blood Warden proc, etc.
For the ultra-sweaty squads BP means literally nothing, just that the killer doesn't win is all that matters.

It happens a lot, but 4 DC for me is a better victory than 4K
🙌 😂

Yeah they always crack me up doing that then talking smack. It only pisses me off when they do it right at the beginning and i feel bad for the other 3 im about to wreck

I think for a hook you get 2500 points and for a DC it's only 650 or something. So the killer gets less than the final hook reward and the survivor gets nothing because they dc'd so everybody loses.

"If DCing means you win, why didn't you DC as soon as the trial started?"

Actually, the killer doesn't lose anything unless the survivor DC's the moment they go down... Except even then the killer doesn't lose anything, because now they don't have to carry them to a hook, a potentially costly amount of time. The only negative is one single, solitary less point in the Sacrifice catagory, since DC's count as a kill and reward 2 points. It's essentially the same as someone dying on their second hook.
Bonus life points if they DC and brag about denying your 32k game.

Not only that, the Quitter Bonus is in Brutality which you earn by hitting survivors and breaking stuff (gens, pallets, walls) and not Sacrifice.
