I think it works better than DC penalty, but both can be applied.


Its an easy system. Players whom are DCers are matched with other DCers. In GTA V, quitters are classified as "bad player" and thus they are thrown into matches and servers fulfilled by DCers like them.


So, players who DC when losing will play with other whom will DC when losing. They just keep tasting their own medicine, while players that do not DC are put together and can have a complete match.


And the queue time? I rather some minutes more than wait a lot and have to restart all over cause a DC or have no chance in match.


But i am sure the DCers will have a waaaaay longer queue time.

    Dota has been doing this since beta


    Hot take tho; only the first DC should be banned/punished, forcing other to play a 3v1 is a terrible idea

    I don't think they do, for devs, this would be like losing players.
