D Strike Change
I'm a survivor main and I hate the ds unbreakable meta I find it boring and cheap as u get rewarded from getting downed. My change is so that u get rewarded for doing something like adrenaline as its gets activated when all gens are done. My new DS perk.
After being chased for a total of 300s DS becomes active while DS is active when being picked up succeed a skillcheck that allows you to escape the killers grasp and stun the killer for 5 seconds become the obsession and the perk deactivates and is used up for good.
This perk is intended to rewards good players who know how to loop a killer and bad players who eventually all the chase time will add up to active the perk late game.
It would make for a good perk as it encourages you to go for chases and in my opinion the best part of the game

So... because you could run the killer for some time, now you get to run the killer some more, even though they actually downed you? Also, chase in this game is wonky as all tarnation. Since it doesn't have a duration, that makes it so the killer has to leave you slugged for the 4 minutes, since they cannot pick you up if your DS is active. Lastly, that sort of makes DS no longer viable to do what it does best when its not being used from a locker: discouraging tunneling. Your changes are reminiscent of the old DS, which was a terribly designed perk. Does DS probably need some changes? Yeah, but at the moment, nothing discourages tunneling as well as DS, and people play efficiently.

The only second perk that i consider fine are delivrance and adrenaline because you need to work for them all the other are BS. I dont why but some people consider DH like a second chance perk but i cant agree with that

Can YOU loop the killer for 5 minutes every single match?

Not EVERY game on EVERY map against EVERY killer but i can yes

It's a TOTAL of 5 minutes so a 2 mins chase here and a 3 min chase there it adds up

300 seconds is 5 minutes dude. All generators take around 3 minutes to complete when 3 people constantly work on them. You need to understand the game better before coming up with these, this is just fundamentally wrong. Why turn DS, the only tunneling band-aid in the game, to a perk that could allow people who looped the killer for 5 gens to loop him for longer, which is I'm assuming what you were going for.

the problem if ds is that people think they are imortal during this time, ds should be more like a defensive perk, better idea: ds will activate if the killer are in a range of 40 meters after the unhook, ds will now be 30 seconds long, if the killer start chasing you, the timer wont go down
