this meta is kinda stale for killers ie if you not running at least 2 of these your 4k ratio is below 30%
but survivors can easily make do with 1 and escape 70% of their games maybe we should focus more a more competitive perk meta

While I don't disagree with more perks to choose from, you sound hilariously entitled to think that your 4k ratio should be high without running the best perks (it shouldn't really be that high anyways) and that survivors shouldn't be able to survive at all without the best perks.
Also, survivors actually have a good number of perks to choose from, but DS and BT will always be among the most useful, because being tunneled or camped just is not fun at all.

Ideally, you should 4k at a similar rate as getting no kills.
BHVR wants the game balanced at a 50% kill rate. Assuming you are playing to win, it's fairly difficult to walk out of a trial with no kills (assuming equal skill), so likewise it should be fairly difficult to walk out with 4 in a game

I dont run any of these. Makes my games more fun and varied, dont understand how people can stick to the BDSM meta without getting bored.

since BBQ got shadow nerfed and Nurses too (although not as hard since you see the auras only from a shorter distance) with the new strange auras, i will try out other options in future. Maybe Tinkerer or Discordance or Whispers instead of BBQ.

I don't get the killer perk complains as there are examples of killers who can't make use of them:
BBQ's aura reading is useless on any killer with set up like trapper/hag.
Nurses is useless on the plague or T3 focused Michael.
NOED...I play a lot of survivor and I really don't see too many NOEDs but I also mainly play against reds/purple killers as survivor. Its also not the best hex for most killer as legion/doctor's best hex perk is ruin.
Pop: Popular due to gen rushes but also can't realistically be used with some other slowdown perks such as ruin.
Also lets not forget meta/semi meta perks each killer has:
Iron maiden for Huntress with a semi meta use for Doctor.
Play with your food for Normal play Bubba/Speed Wraith.
Whispers for Doctor/any skill check effecting perks for Doctor.
Thanatophobia for Legion/Plague.
Strider for Spirit.
Infectious fright for Michael/Oni/Plague.
Corrupt intervetion for Trapper/Hag/Demo
Save the best for last for Pig/Demo
agitation/Iron grasp/Insidious for basement Bubba.
Monitor and abuse for Michael and Deathslinger.
I am getting tired of naming meta perks per killer so I think this list is long enough to prove my point on killer meta perks not being as stale due to each killer being MUCH better with specific perks.

knowing where the survivor that arent breathing down your back are is useful for all killers including trapper and hag.nurses is less helpful on t3 myers but still somewhat useful. i dont now about ruin being better than noed i guess if they dont find the totem and you pressure but with noed they just need to not find all 5 totem which is much more likely and the effect is just as strong

Under 50%. The game is "balanced" around an expected 2k 2 escape. So 50% 4k would be a little high imo.

Weirdly I very rarely run any of the above perks (sometimes I'll put on PGTW or BT if I've been having tougher games) and I win most of the time with fun/memey builds. But when I see the same perks over and over again, including the smol pp builds for both sides, it exhausts me.

With ruin on doctor/legion it just makes their innate slowdown even stronger as gens will be regressing due to mending/"Snap out of it" will force survivors off of gens.
Also with the above if combined with the Pig's perk surveillance it would mean each survivor your power gets off of a gen will alert you to said gen being worked on again.
Effectively it gives legion/doctor a lot more time to stop generators from being finished along with powerful information with the combo with surveillance will let them end the game before NOED would ever activate.

Object of obsession.
It allows the obsession to, when looking toward the killer, see the killers aura and show their aura to the killer.
Risky, but in decent hands or a 2-4 person group it gets much stronger.

In my opinion, you're right. The Meta is boring, and if you really want to play on the edge, play with OoO.
I'm on the edge of my seat almost every match, and I don't think I'll change my build any time soon.

Bad Mannerism. Players being mean to other players. In an example for OoO, its often used nowadays to run around in circles on the new Silent Hill level, since there's nothing you (as a killer) can do about it.

BHVR don't want the game balanced to 2k. That's not true. This is what they say, but it's not true. The kill rate is 3k, and they don't want to change it. This killer forum is part of the problem.

On my current main (Pig) I run none of these perks and get more 4ks and 3ks than a 0-2k.
I also only run one of these survivor perks (Spinechill) and also do completely fine.

Pop is meta, thats true. It rewards the killer for playing well, and even has some fallacies you can make (being dedicated to pop a gen far away instead of protecting the nearer ones). The meta is well earned, imo.
BBQ is only meta bc of the bonus BP. If I wouldn't need them, i would happily switch it out for Thrilling tremors, which works more constantly with knowing which gen to pop. And even gives some stall sometimes when there wouldn't be enough time to hook someone and then pop a gen, since it would be finished in the mean time. BBQ is not so consistant. There are games where I dont see a single aura, bc survs hide well enough. Also currrently auras are really hard to see, so TT is superior, imo, part from the bonus BP.
Where on earth is Noed Meta? For one game wherer it is game changing, there are like 4-5 games where it grants you max one down, if it even activates. No competent killer needs that one, apart from end game builds maybe.
Nurses calling is strong, but also no meta, imo. It only works relatively well on Stealth killers or ones with lower TR. Also, healing alone, esp. with SC, is actually benefitial for a killer, since it takes the surv healing out of the equation for half a minute minimum. Sure Nurses can grant you some early victories, but similar to Noed, for one game where Nurses does something for me, there are like 3 or 4 games where I don't see a Nurses aura even once. Partly due to the no-heal meta. Maybe I don't tunnel enough to get use of it, don't know.
Sloppy and STBFL, these ones I would call meta. But primarily on M1 killers.
I can 4k alright with just BBQ and other not so meta perks. Actually, the skill / coordination of the survivors you face as well as the skill of you playing the killer is far more relevenat to the success rate than the used perks, imo.

My build for Trapper (my main) is Whispers, Corrupt, StBfL and Agitation and I do fine.
I get what you're saying though. I hope BHVR adds some worthwhile perks but after the MoM debacle I don't think we'll see them anytime soon.

I feel like the Devs should just have an open public test build they just completely change the meta just completely shift under rated perks and just rebalance everything so their can be new perks in the meta
