New Frankins is S-Tier on Pig

Pig's Bear Trap Timer and Franklins Item Destruction Timer pair amazing together. The Survivors have to choose between back tracking to find their items or getting their helmets off.

If they waste time finding their item, the bear trap becomes much more deadly. If they waste time on their bear trap, the item will be gone forever. Win, win. Make your choice. Gives Miss Piggy a lot more passive pressure and messes heavily with squads bringing a bunch of items.

Two holes. 1, you are relying on survivors having items in the first place and being the kind of survivor that worships and relies on their item. 2, in that scenario the old Franklins would have been better, wouldnt it? They would have wasted even more time finding their item after they got the trap off. I like the whole "Make you choice..." vibe, but surely the old Franklins would have have wasted more time by actually promising them that they COULD find it.

Old Franklins had no pressure. You could ignore it and play normally and go looking for your item in endgame. If you didn't make it to endgame, you weren't keeping the item anyway. New Franklins forces Survivors that want their item to look for it mid-game, which creates slowdown: something old Franklins didn't really do well.

As for teams with items, Rank 1 Killer queues allow me to be choosy with my games since I get lobbies in around a minute or less. And pro-tip, Survivors that bring med-kits usually don't have self-heal or bond so they're planning on relying on them for sustain. It hurts more than you think. And top tier Survivors are obsessed with their flashlights, they literally will spend the entire remaining timer looking for that purple beamer no joke

It's OK. Survivor items are honestly not that strong anymore. I would run it against a key. Or on Hag, to get rid of a couple flashlights.

Medkits are usually just a brown or a yellow, not too many people are running around with syringes or a purple medkit + botany knowledge.

Maps are a joke. Flashlights can basically get countered by looking at a wall as you pick people up, unless you really hate getting blinded at pallets (which doesn't matter while you are in the kick animation anyways). Toolboxes will probably already have been used up before you get around to getting rid of them.

I was wondering, does Franklin's only works for M1 attacks or works for special attacks as well?

It's SSS+++ on hag. Trap the dropped item, they'll never expect it >:)

Franklin's is just great for knocking the key out of their hand and standing on top of it until it disintegrates with insidious. :D

No, old Franklin's they had infinite time to get their item. They just do the trap and THEN come back. Now they HAVE to choose.

Yeah it's even better on hag. Pesky flashlights begone! And if u come back for it I have some traps waiting for you

Franklin is definitely better on hag. But OP has a good point too. Pig and Franklin's might work

New franklins need one buff: if a item gets dropped it gets consumed by the entity passively. That guarantees that survivors don't just drop their items on their own.

I suppose I prefer a perk that's good against a wide range of survivors to a perk that's good against a select few morons that won't give up on their item.
