The new update killed the frames on PS4
I feel like since the new update the performance of DBD on PS4 has significantly reduced, the frames I feel are really bad especially for killer and the time it takes to pick a survivor or killer is noticeably longer. Has anyone else noticed ?

My last game was a nightmare. it was impossible to hit or follow someone, it looks like 15 fps

My game has always had a bad stutter whenever an in-game change happened like falling asleep vs Freddy or being hit by a killer in general. Now it's just even more atrocious

Advice for people on console: Restart your game every 2 or 3 games or so, or when you feel your frames drop in the menu. This has been working for me.
(I would also advise restarting every game if you play a low frames killer like Doctor or Demo).

I have FPS issues on a pc as well.
My rig is not bad either...

Performance has took a major hit with 4.1.0. The frame rate is really low on all maps as both survivor and killer for me. Midwich and Lerys are unplayable. I also get random stutters in all my games.

My last game had my eyes and head spinning. Was meant to be in a few swf matches but refused to play as I simply could not enjoy it. That and all the whack that is the new auras. Was gonna try killer but heard it was just as bad. So, gave up completely.

Thanks as it is driving me mad. My partner in crimes is even worse than mine so we are going to restart his between matches. Otherwise it's just de ranking all the way back to green or worse ranks for him and I. (Sob)

We have a serious fps problems in ps4. Awful perfomance, ruined the matches, Its a shame.

Yup. Just tried again today and can barely loop as lagging on nearly every corner etc. I really hope it gets sorted soon as it was the one game I actually enjoyed coming home to play. But, here we are now.=/

Oh yes. I dared to join people on a gen and legit prayed to the dbd gods for hits on my checks. It didn't go well. I missed the 3rd one I got and walked away in shame. X_X

No frame drops in custom games, I think the issue is server side.

This is what worries me about the graphical update. If console can't get decent FPS with the OLD graphics, what's the FPS going to be with the new stuff? 4 powerpoint slides per minute?

I feel really sluggish playing killer which is causing me to miss hits when I shouldn't be. Survivor movement is even harder to keep track of. Top that off with the abysmal aura changes. I'm surprised I'm still managing to kill anyone.

That would suggest a memory leak issue. Is dbd on console really that bad?

It is. It really is. The silent hill menu is probably the worst menu we've had. Switching killer? Frames drop to like 5 FPS. This can also happen when clicking through menus like in the shop.

Yeah, tested on Lerys, Midwich and Red Forest. Maybe they didn't replicate the changes to custom game.

Yes, I have noticed too. Like the FPS wasn't bad enough for consoles before. Next patch: 5 FPS and a new linked purple cosmetic. Priorities of BHVR.

You can bet.Not even consistent 30 FPS and lagging/FPS drops every certain event (getting hit with sloppy butcher,getting bloodlust 1 etc.) it's so annoying i hate it.

Yes, it's another reason I ditched PS4 and just went PC full time.
BHVR could be making double the $$ off of me but it's clear they don't give a flying ######### about console.
