Flashlights need to be nerfed
Gives the survivors way too much of an advantage. When four survivors have a flashlight the killer might as well disconnect.

Or at a minimum allow the killer to move and avert his eyes when picking up a survivor.

I mean not really just bring infectious of light born and boom problem solved or look at walls its not like there's no counter to them

It is called light born. A perk that even two survivors trying to blind you cant while you picking up a survivor

You can turn to face a wall before picking people up(So you face a wall while picking them up) and if your still getting flash lighted then its the flashlight bug as it shouldn't be able to do that.
Mind you survivors do not have control over the flashlight bug as far as i know I just wanted to point that out in case it was what you are talking about.

If it bother you run lightborn or Franklin. You can even run doc and get them to tier 3 to avoid the light.

I love seeing four flashlights as Doctor. It means they’re basically itemless because tier 3 locks you out of item usage.

lately I just get excited whenever I see a flashlight squad, just act like you're gonna pick someone up then listen for the sound of a greedy survivor running in, 2 downs for the price of 1.

Clearly you have never seen me use a flashlight. A killer has never been safer than me with a flashlight in my hand. 😂
For reals tho, this is not remotely common enough to be nerfed. Flashlight saves are pretty situational and I have only ever had one team that made it impossible to get hooks.

They should also (further) nerf pallets, I hate when I get in a bad position and get punished for it.

Honestly seeing multiple flashlights is the best thing you can get as killer. It means that they aren't focused on gens and are more focused on getting the flashlight save.
I'd rather see 4 flashlights than 4 med kits and 4 toolboxes. I think most experienced killers at high ranks would agree.

If I see four survivors with flashlights I put on lightborn and enjoy a lot of free hits after breaking pallets/picking up a survivor. Also gens aren't going to get done very fast if you have three survivors come running everytime someone gets downed.

No, flashlights are perfectly balanced. They are skillful and rewarding to use which is a good thing. Only small issue is flashlighting from a side where they aren't in FOV but that is FOV problem and not flashlight problem.

Except flashlights can still blind you, even if you can't see them on either side of you. That's the issue I have with them. Fix that, and I'm okay with them in general.

Not really. As killer flashlights are easy to avoid most of the time. It also takes kinda skill to save someone with them.
Edit: Or do you mean getting blinded after a pallet drop is too much? Or both together? Still I don't think that they are unfair or something.

I second this, most flashlight users are extremely predictable.

I love seeing flashlights in a lobby: it likely means you'll have survivors hanging around trying to get a save, instead of doing a gen. They're easy to avoid - look at a wall, or bait the save out then go for them (stop over the downed survivor like you're going to pick them up, then turn around and look for the person waiting for the save).

Medkits = Extremely quick heals or instaheals
Flashlights = Failed bully squad when using Franklin's or more importantly Infectious

i dont think they need nerfed but it is kind of a ######### you moment when you put effort into downing someone only to get punished for picking them up like youre suppose to. kind of a ######### up concept, know what im sayin?

Flashlights are balanced. Its hard to get saves and mostly preventable by the killer. They have to get really close when you start the pickup, so they're usually exposing themselves to a free hit. And they're not doing gens. Instaflashes were broken, but since then, they're manageable.

As a killer main who say survivors are way too op with their perks, i can absolutely say NO to this, you have everything to counter a flashlight, either with a perk or the environement, also if you think there's a survivor around, simply look, if you find one, try to hit them so they get even further away, flashlights are fine as they are.

There's nothing worse than playing as nurse and having survivors with flashlights hiding around every corner when you try to pick up a downed survivor... I even picked one up directly facing a wall and somehow still got blinded? The effect lasts forever and I got blinded 3 times in a row. Also don't have lightborn so it's not an option. SWF flashlight team is frustrating ....

This, lightborn makes you practically immune to blinds. They would need a very high powered flashlight and add-ons to even have a chance...and even then it's a small chance.

I don't have a problem with flahslights anymore. In fact I enjoy seeing people with 4 flash lights because when I'm about to down someone they tend to drop what they're doing to try to get a save. Every time I down a survivor I face a wall. If no wall is present I act like I'm going to pick them up and draw the flash light saver out for a free hit. If they are trying to flash light save someone then they aren't working on gens.
