If Killers cannot switch once in a Lobby
Then neither should survivors. I don't care if they're all just re skins of the same wire frame if I can't switch my killer once in a Lobby then Survivor should have to be stuck with whatever Survivor they were on when they entered that Lobby.

The best part about this. Is any argument you make about why Survivor should be able to switch and Killers not can be turned around and used for Killers to.
But what if I'm spending blood points? Yeah well I like to spend blood points in Tinker around other Killers to while waiting for lobbies next

The difference is changing survivors doesn't affect the mmr rating as they all share one.
The only way to sort it really is to punish lobby dodging and also lock survivors in half way through the time so killer can setup perks.
Remember this change was done as many asked for it. It makes it more viable to try killers players are not familiar with.
Id imagine a lobby punishment would also be met with complaints.

No. Because it can also affect gameplay. A Survivor shouldn't be able to switch from a Survivor they have no perks on to one there fully geared out and get it out on if Killers cannot do the same it is unfair.

I don't think you quite understand.
Say mmr has a rating which goes from 1-2000.
Survivor has one mmr, say they have a fully decked survivor and have a rating of 1500. Even if they chose to play with a new char and no perks they will be matched using that 1500 mmr rating.
A Killer player has a rating of 1500 on Huntress. They want to try Pig with no perks. They will be matched at a lower mmr. For arguments sake I will say possibly 500 (we don't know how much it will change atm)
Now take a scenario and they start with pig to match make at 500 mmr and once in the lobby they change to huntress. So they are a 1500 rated killer and versing survivors in the 500 bracket.

The problem at the moment is that the new MMR is not in place yet so you want to try pig you ready up and your locked into playing pig (which is at your current rank), while in the lobby the survivors all decide to change there items and all bring in flashlight the only thing you can do is hope you have perks that can counter the survivors/items your facing or dodge the lobby.
So right now using your example you have killers with a 500 mmr vs survivors with a 1500 mmr and if you see the survivors are decked out with map, key, flashlights if you don't have any perks to counter any thing they bring in perks/items how do you think the match will go for that killer.
That's the problem a lot off people have and why they think survivors should be locked or at least there items when they ready up, until the MMR is in place they are forcing a 500 mmr killer to vs a 1500 mmr survivor.

Preventing quickswitching has been asked for for a significantly longer amount of time. The Dev's have proved that they will happily lock characters so you cannot switch to get a giant advantage. So why only affect one side with it?

Thats due to this needing implemented in a patch while the matchmaking changes do not. That tends to say its almost here.
You forget quickswitching never came about until players started dodging lobbies. Players did not switch to gain an advantage primarily they switched to use what the game offered.
These are two differnet things as one is trying to use what is allowed and the other would be using the system to verse lower ranked players. If players accepted what the game was none of this would be an issue.
This is also why if you read above i already covered that as to sort this a punishment for dodging lobbies would be needed along with locking survivors in at say 30s so killer can change perks as otherwise too many would dodge.

Survivors shouldn't get special treatment in this regard fact.

I mean it does suck that they had to implement it without having the MMR system ready ,but for survivor at bare minimum I’ve seen people spawn in and have the same character or look too similar and they’ll switch out from Nancy to nea most likely to avoid tunneling. So you’d probably get a lot of complaints in that regard as well.
