Isn’t there a colorblind mode in the mobile version? If so that might actually be a sign that they will add it later to the ‚normal‘ version, like they are apparently doing with the bots..
also aren’t there already colorblind people playing the game? I mean it’s not like they can’t play at all, and you can’t make the game accessible for every disability, especially if others could use it to gain unfair advantages (and there will be people abusing it). But I agree they should really work on a ‚fair‘ colorblind mode

I'm all for inclusion and all but seriously... It's so obvious when companies say things to pander rather than to actually address an issue.

please post evidence there is, i dont see any.
and yes there are, but there are many more being driven away because they cant deal with it as good as other people can, and some people have different severities ranging from barely colorblind to like full on colorblind.

I’m colorblind and play the game. I accept that I cannot use blood to track people on any outdoor map and that sometimes I won’t be able to see my trapper trap or my totem spawn because they’re too dull red to see reliably for me. I fully accept I’m playing at a disadvantage just by pressing “play as killer.”
This last patch has made the game absolutely unplayable for me outside of using a filter that washes out the game and turns survivors and killers into blendettes for free just so I can see the gen/hooked survivor auras. It’s effecively unplayable either way but with the filter I at least have a chance. It’s absolutely unfair.
Also just because we CAN play in the previous patch’s world doesn’t mean we wouldn’t love the ability to customize aura colors. I accept blood would be unfair so I don’t ask for it but auras and scratchmarks are supposed to be visible...why can’t I make the red blue?

This is me...I lose scratch marks so easily. And on corn maps just about any time I hit a survivor they get away free if it's out in the cornfield because by the time the killer wipes their weapon, they've already blended in with the corn. I still enjoy the game anyways despite my color blindness. But I'd love options! I'd change them red auras in a heart beat.

Duh, just use Nvidia filer settings - wait, what so you mean you can't use them because they aren't great in the first place and don't help people on console/more than half the PC players?

Or closer to 1500 but you cant mix and match the color options. It's a set.

I am colorblind, redblind specificly. I cant see blood, and scratchmarks only indoors. But as Survivor, auras were fine till now.
Killer auras were very depended on the map, on some they were fine, on most it was hard to see, on some (ormond for example) they were invisible. And it is hard to play killer if you have to search for gens because you cant see the aura.
Now with the changes, i can´t see totem auras or even traps as Trapper anywere on the map. As survivor, i can´t see hooked people, or slugged ones.

Oh I didn’t know this was about auras. They stated they didn’t intend this drastic change and are working on a fix
i did not say there is colorblind mode on mobile, but I thought it was, wasn’t sure so I asked.. if it’s not my bad..

True, they did say that and they are, but my first paragraph was about normal auras. When they're working as intended totems and trapper traps are not guaranteed to be visible for me at all times. Which is why even when the auras go back to normal I'll still be hoping for a colorblind setting for auras.
