Why not just remove NOED,Hatch,keys, and Moris?
Noed is the "heres an undeserved kill" as the hatch is a "heres an undeserved escape" i play both sides and I find both rather aggravating. so scrap the keys too since it's basically an aura item at that point and you guys reworking them I'm sure will turn them into something that's to impactful. For moris I feel it's pretty self explanatory completely destroys the rhythm it seems the game is supposed to have. From 12 hooks to 4. Literally takes 3/4 the work of the killer out of the game. ------Lastly and unrelated I'm positive you guys dont test these patches despite what you say after this aura ordeal. How can you pass that on to us? Even cheaper looking and severely less visible. you took something that had an aspect that needs reworking (the black abyss when someone is hooked) [the dumbest animation "yeah let's just block everyone's vision of that area for a moment who cares if the killer is running straight at you, you gotta see this black bubble!"] So you reworked (should say screwed up) the part that was fine while completely ignoring the only real problem aura related..... maybe less focus on cranking out new skins and more on the actual gameplay? Am I wrong here people?

The gates would have to spawn farther apart if there were no hatch. The last guy would be completely boned with how they currently are (especially Midwich & Saloon)

That's the point. If your team all died, you've lost. There's no reason the gates should be powered for you, and a convenient little doggy door should open up so you can be rewarded for failure. Also, I'm not sure why you point to the saloon as an example. The doors can potentially spawn just about as far from each other as possible on that map.

You shouldn't be completely screwed because your teammates died. Glad you don't have a say in balance.

What's your argument if the survivor did earn the win? Git gud at the game and you can win? But killers are entitled to a 4k 🤔

you shouldn't be given the 4k if you, as the guy with more movement speed and nothing to hide from, failed to find the hatch

Survivors play as a team therefore you win and lose as a team not one guy winning on the survivor side who hid when it came down to the last two survivors so guy 3 would die first and he can run to hatch.(happens all the time in red ranks) There is just a random secret tunnel in John's yard to in case you guys get stomped.... focus on teamwork and youd see the hatch is a cop out just like NoEd. Pity points.

And to the guy talking about balance your mistaken... being able to make such an impact that you can win a 4v1 game 1v1 is not balance. because your saying it shouldnt matter that 75% of your team is dead. 1v1 you should still be able to win. That crutch mentality is exactly the problem and why these pity features exist.

"Potentially" is the keyword. You can't say who is the last one and how much he did for the team. Wanna make the hatch spawn only for people that got at least a pip or 20k BP? Would be a strange rule

Solo queue isn't a team game so your dead wrong right there. It's a 1v1v1v1 vs Killer.
That's why hatch is a legitimate game mechanics.

Hatch keys and moris are all on the same page, but noed?

Why not remove flashlights, ds, adrenaline, rancor, and yellow envelopes too?

Why not remove gens and hooks as well? Just make it a race to a gate and be done with it all.

I promise you if you ask the devs they will disagree with you. It's not designed to be 1v1v1v1 v killer that makes no sense. And no I'm not going to do all bones in hopes I'm stopping a ####bag perk. You know how hard it is already to get you red survivors to do gens lol everyone thinks they need to chase the killer ffs.

Borrowed time is essential for camping killers and is a balanced perk... why even mention that one? I'm not saying Noed is overpowered just a sad pity perk (did you read the OP????) that shouldnt be included (basically like the hatch for killer). And I honestly am fine with removing adrenaline and DS as I hold no attachment to either.

NOED can be prevented before, or after deactivated- after it activates, insta-down powers cannot. But all these insta-down powers can easily be avoided, just as easy to avoid NOED activating. And NOED doesn't really guarantee a kill (without face camping or slugging). Survivors 9.9/10 never get the hatch, even with a key. Killer always finds it first. It always comes down to Exit Gate escape which if they gates are far apart, survivor has like a 40-100% chance of escape. Close together, they have like 5-30% chance.

It's not as sad as the survivor perks I mentioned though (and many more!).

NOED is not more of an "undeserved kill" than DS is an "undeserved escape" imo. NOED, Rancor, DS, Unbreakable are all second chance perks that you don't have to work for.
Removal of hatch will only decrease the last survivor's chances even further. I don't think that's a good thing.
I'm 100% ok with removing keys and moris though.

The biggest purpose of the hatch right now is to end the game faster
Without it you would have the last survivor hide for 20 minutes

Am I the only one who runs to the farthest gate and waits for the killer to shut hatch? It's almost like a 80% chance I make it. And I feel like that's a deserved win because I've got a big brain!

If everyone who agrees with removing parts of the game outright had to pay 5 euros to everyone else who enjoys those parts, plus an additional 50 cents per item/offering/perk that they spent time grinding that will now be removed, I'm betting we'd see a lot fewer of these threads and a lot more adaptation.

the hatch is annoying because keys exists. ithink they should rework hatch so only spowns after all gens are doen or the third survivor is killed so the last survivor has a chance of escaping and the killer a chance of finding it first or not. taht would be more like a 50/50 unless you have a key but if the key only helps you and not 75% of the team wouldnt be that unfair at all.

You say why remove NOED and then you say remove adrenaline and ds and unbreakable, when Adrenaline is like a nonexistent perk until the end of the game LIKE NOED, an btw NOED works all Endgame while Adrenaline works once with a good effect. You know what that sounds like! A salty killer main!

Because making a meta smaller is not a good thing. If you remove options (even the busted ones) then the things people do will become even more of a copy/paste.

Not sure why NOED is on that list. NOED is perfectly balanced.

1) Because Noed is fair.
2) Because hatch is fine. It ensures the game ends one way or another.
3) The devs have stated they are looking at keys. So they'll probably be completely useless soon enough.
4) They are also looking at Mori's. So again probably useless.
