Can't even bring Shroud of Sep. and Cypress moris due to DC's
There are maybe a small portion of us that don't mori off of first hook, but the frequency of that happening makes survivors too scared to face against any killer that brings a mori, even if it is the one completely fair mori that can't even be used until a 4k is successful.
Aside from 1st hook mori, I suppose no survivor has the patience to find out exactly WHICH mori it even is.
I have actually scared people into DC'ing with Shroud of Separation (Actually a good killer offering on most killers, change my mind).
I recently heard that both Keys and the Mori offerings are being looked at down the line, and I hope that can make the lesser versions be used without unsportsmanlike behavior.

Even a Cypress Mori? By far that's the only one that is balanced. The others I can understand perfectly.

Even this one if we don't know which mori do you have. We can't know if you'll kill us as soon as someone unhooks us.

Keep using them. If people don't want to play the game, they can deal with the DC penalty.

Of course you don't know which one it is until it happens, but that doesn't mean Cypress is unfair by any means.
Imagine thinking Cypress is OP because you don't get to know what the killer was using. You should be catching on that the killer has it if they're holding a secret offering, but have only been sacrificing survivors the entire time.

There CAN be players that don't care and march through the trial, and those are the more respectable players. Too bad there's not that many though.

Ebony Mori just isn't worth playing against. I rage at leavers all day, in fact I've made threads about it, but I'm leaving too if I see the first guy get mori'd

Their numbers will increase if you use secret offerings more regularly, since the others will be busy dealing with extremely long timeouts.

It would honestly be way better for at least the cypress mori to not be a secret offering for that exact reason. When you see a hidden killer offering as survivor it's pretty understandable to assume that it's an ebony mori if you ask me (not saying I'd close the game/DC to dodge it, I'll just try extra hard just in case)
And I'd argue the shroud of seperation is not an offering you want to use as killer. It seems to be quite common survivors spawn in pairs or 3 together + 1 alone, or even all 4 together. They might go on one gen, if they're seperated even if you find one of them quickly it's far more likely you'll have 3 gens pop at practically the same time instead of 1 fast gen before they have to move to another.
And if they're actually disconnecting in-game let them, then they're getting a DC penalty. If they close the game process on the loading or offering screen there's no DC penalty whatsoever.

Because 9 times out of 10 it’s an ebony mori and the killer just moris straight off hook. It’s a ######### match in which you’re unlikely to survive, pip, complete a challenge, get any bloodpoints or have fun of any kind so it’s just a waste of time for most survivors. I don’t condone it, but I also don’t blame anyone who dcs from moris to be honest.

How does that make it "unfair".
Not knowing if you can be moried off first hook or not simply mean you'll find out later. I hate how spoon fed everything is becoming in this game.
Killer has a hex perk, tell survivors right off the bat. Killer has an aura perk, tell survivors instantly. Survivor has an obby perk (and you as killer do not) tell the killer instantly. Obby is being chased, tell all other survivors they are being chased....
There seems to be no suspense or guesswork anymore. All the information you need is freely given, making the game a M1 simulator as a survivor. This isn't some shot at survivor players either but the design choice of removing any sort of tension you may have felt playing them.

Had a doctor tunnel my friend and immediately mori off first hook. Killers then wonder why survivors dodge mid loading screen.
