Why is BHVR dodging questions about linked cosmetics aka sets?
I saw so many people asking why we have to link certain cosmetic PIECES even tho they would work and won't clip as a standalone cosmetic but I haven't seen a single dev or mod from bhvr providing an answer.
And here a little list of cosmetics pieces which would not needed to be linked yet they are linked
- bunny Legion knife
- Clown knife
- Oni minotaur sword
- Graffity nea head
- Graffity nea pants
Arguably:
- Bunny Legion head
- Graffity nea torso (make it that without her original graffity head cosmetic the head part is put down)

Nea pants cut off at the wrong part, the head is bald in the back because it was designed to be covered, and you just said they would actually have to redesign the hoodie, so clearly there is a reason it is linked.
Anything relating to pyramid head chapter may have had to have been a set.
However, I do think the weapons should be seperate for the clown and maybe minotaur. But the problem is that they want the whole outfit to be used together. So while using the minotaurs sword on another character may be fine, they dont want another sword being used with the minataur set, so they made it a set.

I have not designed graphics for Unreal engine but have in the past designed 3d graphics for things and the way we did it was it was a single flat graphic that wrapped around the 3d model. If this is done the same, the knife may not seem like it is part of the design, but in fact it is a single image that wraps around a 3dmodel.
Again, no experience with Unreal specifically but have designed many, many, many graphics for other 3d projects and it is one image.

You might like it, but many do find it wierd or unfinished (because it is) so the devs wouldn't wanna release it.

They wouldnt wanna release a product that looks unfinished, and they arent gonna finish it because it is finished, as long as it is a set.
