To get betrayed of my win because somebody brought / found a key. Both Mori and Keys have to be deleted out of the game.

They even picked the Haddonfield map and had no chance of winning against my build with one gen left (one was dead), but obviously one had a key. They betrayed me of my bloodpoints and my win with a cheap mechanic that should not be in the game.

That has to be the worst feeling.. knowing a survivor has/found a key and the killer bringing a mori. Both should be reworked

Keys and Moris needed to get deleted from the game since day one but somehow they're still in the game.

It's alarming how little the devs have talked about them as well, as I don't think it's in their priorities at the moment and they're definitely top 3 most unbalanced, broken and unfair aspects of the game atm.

I always think of key escapes as cowardly, and know that they didn't deserve to escape at all. I also bring new Franklin's and a ivory mori on hag, just so I can get rid of that key and nobody else can take it.

Both of them are on the to-do list.

Its been officially confirmed by Peanits, all we can do is just wait it out at this point.

Thats how I see a key escape, unless it was literally the final survivor and I closed the hatch, then it's fair game. But when you've mowed down 2 survivors and the final ones are stealthing around until you suddenly see 2 exit symbols appear on them, it's so frustrating to see.

Mori's literrally was just so the Killer had a cool way to kill a survivor that wasn't just putting them on a hook all the time. They could have easily made mori's only usuable after the second hook.

Wanna know what's even dumber? The hatch isn't even a "fun mechanic" they've added to the game. It's a band-aid fix for an issue the dev's were dealing with in the past.

Before the hatch. The game reached a standstill when survivors started to take games hostage by hiding at the end of the game instead of trying to work on any remaining gen's - even if there was just one gen left. This resulted in Killer's either going afk, or simply dcing because they couldn't deal with waiting any longer and the survivor winning for free.

So they've added the hatch with specific conditions to be opened. Literally a free win mehcanic for the survivors to find, and another thing that Killer's HAVE to track to perform well.

BHVR Literally looked at players abusing an aspect of the game, and remedied it - by giving those same players a free win mechanic. I seriously can't make this ######### up. THEN CAME KEYS.

Congratulations the devs are working on moris and keys as we speak! This was confirmed by Peanits in a different thread.

The problem is, you have to be at the lobby screen all the time, because survivors can just last second switch to a key and if they do, you can not even DC because of the penalty and the depip (if you care about that).

I'm indifferent to this. I really like the fear of a mori and I do like the ability to find a key in the map and escape death. I agree why both would feel cheated but at the same time, I know their uses has helped clutch a few wins and loses for me. Either way, I do not hate nor like either item.

They're only bad if you take the game that seriously. You have to either bring a key or find one, then find the hatch. It's not even unbalanced because Franklin's directly counters keys. Killing them before the hatch spawns is another.

Nerfing keys will just make the game more dull and one less item worthwhile in the bloodweb.

They're not going to get rid of moris after spending the money to animate them (although I'd be fine with it if they did).

Franklin's is a counter to keys and moris haven't been touched at all. So you can complain all you want about keys, but honestly until they touch moris, they better not do one more thing to keys!

So you should use a niche perk, when every perk in red ranks can make the difference between win and a loss? No thanks. And when they just find one in a chest and not having one right away in the lobby, you won*t pick this perk in any way.
