Totems as a secondary objective

Would showing number of totems remaining (like gens) be a good idea to encourage survivors to cleanse them? Or is not knowing a good mystery to keep?

I wonder if people would like if they added the Totem counter and then remove the lit part of it, basically every totem is dull but you now have a counter
