If we are talking briefly about FNAF, I think Foxy would be a better fit. Think about it. No one has an idea on what Springtraps mechanics would be since he would just appear for his jumpscare in the fnaf games, but Foxy always would pounce on you for his jumpscare. So, we could have some sort of pounce attack as Foxy's big attack.

FnaF 1-3 Foxy would be the same as Springtrap. 1 he just ran down a hall and Peek-a-Boo's you at the door. 2 was Mangle and again, Peek-a-Boo's from darkness. 3 was a Ghost. 4 however, that could work. Since he did 'build' himself inside the Closet unless you checked on him, Foxy could be used that way for DbD. Secretly mark a locker to 'build' yourself and if a survivor doesn't check it in time, they become injured if they get close to said locker.

Fnaf 4 Foxy would be both fun and terrifying lol. Fun for the killer putting themselves together, terrifying for the survivor not knowing which locker will "scare" them.

It would be funny if they added fnaf 1 Foxy's hallway run tho.

Yet again, before this is taken down, I'll just say this. The codenames basically mean nothing except for the one time with England but that's a stretch. And to repeat what has already been said, the F13 franchise is sadly still in legal hell. However, if they see a license that can be mended into the world of DBD, and, more importantly, will make a LOT of money, they'll seek it out and acquire it.

isn't Friday the 13th game no longer being supported by the devs because of how poor the player count is?

Jason in DbD would not only bring them alot of money because people would want to play him in another game but the crowd who still to this day pit the "who is the better killer? freddy or jason?" into a money throwing frenzy if people knew both were in the same game because they would try to prove a point that X killer is better than Y killer because look how often i win games compared to Y.

Not really. Some codenames have connection with the killer. The first one was Leatherface with "Canibal";next is Freddy with "England"; Pyramid Head with "Walles" and here's the explication: someone said (and it was true in my opinion) that "Walles is a country predominant of hills which makes referince to Silent Hill"; anotherone was Ghostface with "Oman" code name and here's the explication: Ghostface was the 3rd anniversary killer. In "Scream 3" The real name of the killer (Ghostface) was Roman. If you "cut" the first letter it remains Oman which was his codename. The otherones i don't know their explications yet.

Now on topic, I believe the codenames have some meaning, it has been quite well detailed in a previous post, but Yemen could possibly mean anything and I don't understand this obsession with Jason in DBD... just play Friday the 13th !
