(I hope I didn't miss another thread on this topic, the searchfunction flunked out on me)

Seeing the (official?) playlist for the game, I wondered what songs/playlists people might have on their own.

Personally I can very much recommend 'The Song with five names' by Will Wood & the Tapeworms, which might sound too cheerful for dbd, till you see the lyrics.

(example? )

I noticed that the sunshine is a gaslight.

I’m hoping that this one might be my past life.

My Lord, I know enough to get my facts right.

And that’s good enough for me.

And everything and everyone will die soon,

and we’ll have nothing left for us to lie to.

No matter what we seek you’ll never find truth,

and that’s good enough for me.

So give me that Old Time Religion. Gimme that Old Time Religion.

Give me that Old Time Religion. It’s Good Enough For Me.

What's your picks outside of the official stuff?

EDIT: Oh, from the same group as above:

Laplace's Angel (Hurt People? Hurt People!)

(that's the title)

When I'm sober I listen to metal like Children of Bodom, In Flames and Soilwork. While drunk, hardstyle is my choice. Headhunterz and Brennan Heart are amazing.

If I'm just messing around I throw on anything from alt rock to 80's pop to vaporwave and classical. Kinda just throw on shuffle in any of those genres.

Find the full version of Incy Wincy Spider, the one that was featured in the credit sequence of the move 8 Legged Freaks.

I've though about doing a full on "If [Killer] Had a Theme Song" thread for a laugh and having Deathslinger have the song Pale Rider, by the Heavy Horses.

Personally for Mr. Slinger I think "Ain't No Grave" by Johnny Cash is the best choice

Death grips make music that slaps, but might be hard first listen. Queens of the stone age make amazing desert rock. Swans make 35 minute long epic songs. Godspeed you! black emperor make music that feels like walking in a post apocalyptic wasteland. Radiohead makes amazing existential albums. Father John Misty is a very opinionated individual, but entertaining nonetheless.

"Ride to town, shoot 'em up and keep on goin'. 'Cuz I got a job to do, and I don't stop for no one."

"Many men have quickly found I'm unforgiving. They say dying ain't no way to make a living."

"I take another life, it's all the same. It's one more killing to the man that has no name."

Does that not fit Caleb Quinn pretty well or what?

King crimson slaps. In the court and red are amazing.

These days I go in [two] very different [directions]. I don't listen to music while I play because sounds are too important, but I often jam in the lobby.
