conditions for killers to open exit gate
we cant open it if survivor have touched it? 99'ed it? what conditions must be met to open it and what voids it?
in my games it seems to be random whether it gives me the option(as killer) or not

From my experience, it can be opened if the End Game Collapse has not started yet.

If you shut the hatch, then you can not open the exit gate. Opening the gate or shutting the hatch starts the end game collapse. It's one or the other as killer.

If all generators are repaired, you may open one exit gate.
If an exit gate has already been powered, you are no longer allowed to open one.
If the hatch has been closed, you are also barred from opening one.

They should change it so if a generator hasn't been popped in 15 minutes the killer can manually open the gate to start EGC. The whole point of you being able to open the gate was to prevent hostage situations where survivors finish gens but refuse to open the gate IIRC and just hide. If survivors decide to not do gens and just hide all game there's no way to manually end the match as killer other than DC and forfeit all your BP.
