They finally fixed huntress and some of spirit. Finally feels like the killer base is being listened to. Still quite a few bugs to fix but it's a great start. Time to throw some hatchets again!

I'm not saying we're gonna get a lot but this is still a good start. Hopefully no more shadow patches and a few more bug fixes and buffs in the October patch. Stay hopeful killers! Our time will come.

Some of you are so salty. it's just insane.
The Huntress is back to where she needed to be. 15 seconds from 20 seconds is a strong buff.
The spirit is now high mid tier. Well done devs.

They have also done a lot of nerfing to killers. Why shouldn't killer be buffed? Isn't this supposed to be a horror game not run in circles game? What nerfs have we got to survivors recently?... exhaustion and pallet vacuum. That's it, the rest just buffs like losing exhaustion when hooked. Can cancel the unhook really fast. Pallets drop faster.(they can't even nerf survivors without buffing them) they took tinkerer away from killers and made huntress worse then when it backlashed they quickly changed it back. Nurses lunge is bad.(although I'll admit it makes her semi balanced having a garbage lunge) buffed wraith then "tweaked" is movement speed when uncloaking so he barely can catch up to survivors with the best swift hunt add on. Bloodlust nerf was irrelevant, either you’re trolling or suck really hard if you go past BL 1.
Hook changes largely did nothing, so what if a suvivor can cancel the animation at any time, and if you are trying to tunnel the hooked person, get better at the game.
Pallet drop change was for non moving survivors and fractions of a second difference, basically did nothing to 99% of games.
Nurse is OP af, she needs more nerfs honestly.
The Huntress change was unbelievably stupid, good it got reverted.
Tinkerer was really only good on two killers and they didn’t need it. It’s change was stupid but basically irrelevant. It went from a meh perk to a meh perk.
As for it being a horror game, unless you are a complete wuss, what movie/game is scary after the 1000th viewing/playthrough? None for me, so I see that point as a weak argument for whiny killers (not calling you one) to justify their position.
The game is still survivor sided, but significantly less so than a year ago, or even six months ago. If you think it’s still the same you haven’t been playing very long, or just aren’t that good. The game has been moving in a good direction since they became self published, so I’m hopeful for the future.

Nurses nerf? good joke honey, this is survivor side game always, the trapper still useless, the spirit need more buff, freddy is just trash.... the cooldown restore when u are hooked is a huge buff for survivor, the 1.5 inmune to damage another huge buff when u are unhooked.... the devs still buff the survivor more

Is it just me or has no one learned to just run to the guy unhooked and then knock him down? I'm not promoting camping but if you know he's gonna be unhooked then just stand at the guy about to be unhooked and his buddy is usually blocking his path and you're behind him. Just wait a second then knock him down and enjoy the disconnect. It's so much fun taking their fun away sometimes.

I've played all Killers at 1, even Freddy, and had good games and bad. Most Killers should be around Billy level, Nurse far exceeds that and needs to be brought in line.

It take a little longer to learn her but it's not nearly as steep as some make it out to be. Use 3 blinks, Dark Cincture and Catatonic Boy's trinket are very good add-ons and only uncommon. Mostly it's just experience with the game, and how people react to you. There are usually two types, those who double back and those who don't. Identify survivor patterns, that's about it really. Mostly if you want to learn with her just stick it out through the good and bad. My first matches as Nurse were solely dedicated to learning her blink range/charge, barely hooked anyone but just kept learning.

@TruEternity the nurse was imposible for me to play in the firts 2 years, she have a hight learning curve, she is a skill killer and no need nerf, she got a lot of nerfs thinks, she maybe need a buff on her addons like the others0

Imo "op" is something that anyone can use and have great success constantly in a game... so are you saying that a day 1 noob can hop on DBD and play God nurse level like Marth88 and destroy 4 SWF teams?.... I’ve had absolute trains ran on me by rank one Freddies & Trappers. But nope, instead of people practising with them they’d rather wait and wait until they buffed into oblivion.
Heres my issue. Killers complain rank one is hard, they also complain that every survivor is in rank one because it’s so easy to get there.
Which is it, every pleb survivor is rank one, or rank one is hard?
Im currently rank 5 killer and rank 6 survivor. I used to get to rank one every season but have since started playing other games as DBD isn’t doing for me as much after 2300 hours.

Tbh getting to rank 1 as a survivor is the easiest task in the world. Getting to rank 1 as a killer isn't that hard but it's harder. So yes, most people in rank 1 suck. You can see that by the way, they play once they run out of pallets. They have no idea what to do...

I just practised blinking and chain blinking, if I caught a survivor great. It probably also helped that the first 3 times I played nurse RNG hated me and put me in The Game.

You have said that killers are OP in a couple of posts or comments, just in a different way...
They haven't only buffed killers for months. They have been reworking the weak ones and even gave survivors a lot of buffs. They are finally making the killers the power role like they should have been from the start. They took a step back with this patch a bit looking at the pretty normal survivor buffs and the ######### new killer, who is only strong cause it's her 2nd/3rd week.

honestly I avoid red ranks. It seems that the higher the rank the more swf. I absolutely detest swf. I'm a higher rank survivor than I am a killer and even still if I even think people are swf in the lobby I back out. I don't think it's a fair "tool" in any way. Do I think rank one is hard? No. Do I think getting to rank one is hard? Not at all. You just have to avoid all the swf and wade through the crappy lobbies and you'll eventually get there.

I've never once a dodged a lobby, I feel if you play against the "hardest" play style you'll become a better killer so I just go for it.
Like I said, I genuinely feel a lot of people think they're better than they are so when they do poorly they blame mechanics or something like SWF. I also see a lot of killers (not all) complaining about only 2/3 killers, that isn't bad and I think that's where A LOT of other killers fall short, they feel if they don't 4K they don't "win" so they want every killer to 4K every match when they play it

She's just a killer with a steep curve to learn. She could use another buff yes, like reworking that ultra rare add on into something else and making blood pools showed by default.
That would really strengthen her greatly.
