I'm sure I just need to thicker skin and to deal with it or "git gud" but this never happened much to me before the matchmaking garbage

and you can say rank doesn't matter but clearly it does to higher players regardless and I don't need this right now.

Rank matters in that it shows you can at least pip, which according to the emblem system means you win.

Players who consistently pip are better at the game at least according to the game rules.

    Damn that's really not nice.

Can you by any chance give me the steam of the guy that typed "stfu rank 18". It's for science.

As a red rank survivor, my last 4 games -in a row- have been against rank 17-20 killers with my teammates also being red ranks. I feel so bad for new players right now. The devs need to sort this ######### out because most matches aren't fun for either side atm with this new mmr.

Don't take the hate too much to heart. Honestly made me sad reading that. People are gonna be toxic no matter what which is sad. Just know if they were up against anyone else in there ranks they would have probably lost and had little fits. :(

Why did you start talking about your miseries? Or was that someone else?

I feel this is why ranks are currently hidden.

So they can hide the fact that if the new matchmaking is broken, doesn't work as intended or seems incorrect, they can just say it is working and you just have to believe them.

Because what would we know about something we can't see.

I honestly think that this new mmr is finally putting all those people that would purposely keep themselves at a lower rank up to the level that they should be in.

    Just saying.

All killers have gotten stomped numerous times, we know how it feels.

You are one of us now.

Camp the hook, the closer the better both to be able to make a move if one is made and also because it helps you to "de pip" (pips I never GAF about ever before, but apparently now they may be worth thinking about if some theories on the mmr are correct). You will also be more likely to get at least one kill that way, and more bloodpoints. Bloodpoints are what matter to you, not some stupid pips... especially if now Not getting those pips helps to keep the game less unfun for you. Camping the hooked survivors closely is probably the best, if not one of the best ways to assure that you won't pip but also will have more fun than you had in those match results that you posted.

I also suggest noed for a while, at least until you stop having matches like that. if you can noed somebody, camp them on the hook either near the noed totem, in between both exit gates when they spawn close together, or in the basement for best results if you have a perk like agitation to help you get in there. Also use insidious perk, to remove your threat radius while camping hooks. Try to do it in a way that's out of site of the hooked survivor in case it's swf over voip since they'll tell the group, but where ones coming for the saves will be less likely to see until it's too late.

But beware of one coming as the bait to lure your attention from the hook enough for them to get a free save from somebody else sneaking up. You want them to pay a price for that save, otherwise you've wasted your time. Also in that sort of situation, slug the mothertruckers when it's a group trying to save them, then hook one of them and leave the rest slugged around there. It punishes swf, and randoms might get bored enough they disconnect and take the 5 minute penalty if it feels worth it over dealing with the way you play. If you have to deal with the way they play, they have to deal with the way you play. It's a two-way street. Doesn't matter whether it's good or it's bad... you're the man with the gun.

There are a lot of abusive people that play this game. Until (if) the devs take a way harder stance, people will continue to use it to belittle, abuse, and threaten others.
