Survivors escape if killer disconnects now?
so i played my first game after this new update and the killer dc's as im about to exit and at the end of the match it showed everyone exited even tho non of us did. I didnt get to see if we got the points like if we exited without the dc but yeah I kindof like this.

That's how its always worked. Counts as surviving, items kept (without addons) and no one can depip.

It's always classes a DC'ing killer as a Exit, but I don't think it used to show the escaped symbol on the results, but either way, you'll always get the 5k Survival points for a DC from the killer

Oh my bad. Yeah I think the symbol threw me off. It showed the symbol that we escaped when the killer disconnected

I have 100% depipped from killer DCing around a minute into a match.

Had a match yesterday where a Bubba DCd after being unable to find anyone for a minute or two. I was crouched near him while he searched and didn't work on a gen or anything before he DC'd.
I black pipped.

I had about six seconds on a gen with a teammate and depipped. I remember it because it caused me to down rank. I wasn't happy.

Yeah I got my -escape with a used up item with open handed challenge-after a huntress with nurse's reached me just after I'd finished healing with a medkit, which is a good enough reason to dc I guess

No. Not true. The end game might say you De-pip but when you get back to the selection screen you’re back to where you were. That’s a bug in the end game. It didn’t actually depip you.

I think he/she means you can now see the icon change as if the survivors escaped the trial. That is new to my knowledge.

Would be nice if when survivors DCed a killer didn't depip, but w/e

It clearly did because my rank went down and I had to earn a pip to go back up...
