Banhammer In Action?
So stoked. I just had a match where about 1 minute in the entire game crashes out saying "Easy Anti Cheat Security Violation"
I then go back in to the game and I see that my account doesn't have a DC ban timer on it which I am forever grateful for then it occurred to me. I probably just witnessed either one of my fellow Survivors or Killers permanent account ban for violating behaviours fair gaming policy. (which gave me immense satisfaction so I'm going with that)
Though it was Spirit so my money's on the killer lol. Anyone who needs that much cheese to win is bound to be nore inclined to cheat
After 4 years of dbd finally some solid evidence that stuff is actually done about cheating. Again, so stoked for this lol. Really made my day

Why would the killer playing Spirit mean it was more than likely the killer that was cheating?

I was in a swf once where we lost a guy who had the same error pop up from eac and it scared the hell out of him. He wasn't cheating, and was fine and still is fine afterwards. He did do a validation of his files I think and iirc he said it found a file or two that was off, probably corrupt or something. It's probably not a big deal if you weren't cheating, though falseflags and false bans do happen once in a while. If that happens and you weren't cheating, you would have to take it up with eac's site and make an appeal probably. But chances are you'll be okay, just validate your files through the properties/local files from your steam client.

Yeah but it's allot harder to ban people who mod their games on console vs PC cause Ive gone against cheaters on console that were rank 20 like it's a new account with mods on. Hopefully dbd doesn't leave bans to Xbox because Xbox won't do anything about it unless the game devs bring it up.

Your AV may have had something to do with it btw, or a firewall. The AV can sometimes screw up and mess with or even quarantine files related to games, had it happen a few times to myself with steam games. So if you're using one also check their logs to be certain they weren't screwing around with the game's files.

I've had this happen several times. This can be anything from Task Manager having been open to your Antivirus and EAC don't get along to your headset had pretty flashy colours on it.
Especially if it was security violation #00000001, which seems to be the one based around having RGB hardware from what I've gathered through tech support and experimentation.

Strange, I've never had it happen to me before. I was wondering that because I got no time out ban penalty for 'disconnecting' due to eac violation that the violation was from another player and the match plus the entire game just ended as a side effect?

I play on ps4 and never had any modded or hacker. What mods did they have on Xbox

The DC bans have been removed again since the 3rd.

EAC just hates people so I wouldn't be surprised if you never got it before.
