Let's clear some things up....
Just because it is a useful perk, doesn't make it crutch. Obviously Adrenaline and DS are crutch but, others aren't really.
Iron will is just for killers with bad tracking. (And spirit)
Pop is useful for genrush
Spine Chill is counter yes for the stealth killer
STBFL is kinda op but it dies at the obsession's death.
I really don't care what you say (there are more that people call crutch, moistly on survivor.)

I use iron will simply because I can’t stand hearing my survivor moan and groan so loud I can’t hear nothing else

Crutch perks are normally known as perks a bad player will need to play. Like taking away a disabled persons crutch, removing the perk would destroy that players ability to kill/escape.

well, in that case it would depend on the player.
Iron Will can be a crutch perk, if you are a blendette good only at hiding. It would not be if you know what you're doing. But honestly, who cares :D?
I remember a salty player telling me that whispers is a crutch perk because he's "able to find survivors even without it". I laughed very hard.

I can see spine chill being a crutch perk. I myself am attempting wean myself off it. Its so useful against every killer. Not just stealth.
Whispers too. For me they are crutches that allow me to play without developing fundamental gameplay ability

First time I've heard someone saying that sbtfl is a crutch perk, I know some people call it a tunneling perk for some reason.

People choose their perks based on their preferred game play style. In this case, nothing is crutch. Let people play how they want, it's their own experience and their choice to run perks without it being "crutch". Im fairly new and run Spine Chill, love that perk. I can play with or without it, I just prefer it. Shrug.

Ds is fine with itself but other perks like unbreakable and soul guard have a lot of synergy with it.
Adrenaline... Is countered by NOED and NOED is countered by small game and detectives hunch so I guess it has... Synergy?

A red rank Nea in one of my games last night said that STBFL was a crutch perk and "artificial skill"... 😂

How is adrenaline a crutch tho. I feel ds is fine but sure some people use it to climb up because they can't loop for too long.
I don't use it myself because i never get to use it. It's either i get slugged or i loop the killer for more than 60 sec and it desactivate. It's really only op against a full swf team that use it to save.
